Psyke 9 Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share That really sucks but, you do seem to have gotten lucky in that it looks like the damage, from the looks of the picture, is limited to just a relatively small piece of the rubber. That said, it could still be $300-$500, if not slightly more, to remove, make sure no fasteners are busted, then to sand and re-paint that area and remount. Most of the cash will go to labour. If it's deformed or cracked whatsoever, then the whole bumper cover needs to be replaced as it's one unit. Thinking to my accident with my Caliber a couple years ago where I got sideswiped, the damage didn't look too severe, with the biggest parts being my side mirror being ripped off a bunch of scrapes and couple of smallish dents, it cost me just over 3K. Rubberdude88 23 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share That does really suck man. I frick'n hate parking lots if that's where it happened. I always park way out from the entrance to any store. Kids & wife hate it but it avoids shit like this. Hope you get it fixed for a decent price. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
