  1. What was the reverse light bulb you got off ebay.  They look like a good improvement over stock and I'd like to do something similar if your happy with the bulbs you purchased.

  2. Just got them off eBay, found the brightest I could.
  3. Dodge of Burnsville is a shady dealership. I've heard of problems from them and also had a personal experience when my father and I stopped by to check out Rams for him. They only care about taking your money. If you're able I suggest driving down to Jeff Belzers in Lakeville. My father and I have both bought vehicles from them and have had very good experiences with them, sales reps and service reps. Good luck.
  4. Yes it will bolt on the same. The most noticeable part is the sound when you step on it and get it to a higher rpm. I did notice a little better throttle response at the higher rpms but under normal driving you won't notice the minimal gain. Cold air intakes are best paired with other mods, which there aren't many since the journey isn't viewed as a performance vehicle. It's up to you what you feel is worth putting on your vehicle. Your money, your car, your enjoyment.
  5. If your looking to use the license plate mount try on the bottom so the lights sit inside the lower grille. It would be a little more stealth. Not sure how well the bracket would hold up to the weight at highway speed though.
  6. It helps to have non-marring pry tools. They were a great help when I pulled apart my grille to paint the crosshair orange
  7. Are these noticeably louder than the stock horns on the journey? I've been looking for new horns for my Dakota
  8. 98 Dodge Stratus 01 Dodge Dakota-still own 11 Dodge Avenger 15 Dodge Journey Raised Mopar, can you tell? Other than me, for the last 15 vehicles my immediate family has owned in the last 27 years, all were Dodge/RAM other than a 1980ish GMC pick-up and an 05 Chrysler 300
  9. Check out the thread I made about the install http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/7654-led-off-road-light-bar-install/
  10. I painted them myself. Bought them off ebay using the mopar part number to get OEM splash guards cheap.
  11. Nice, that's kind of how I thought of doing it. But I also thought about having a piece attach by the cowl on top of the grille so the air is guided to the air filter more.
  12. . I thought about doing that but just never took the time to try it. Can you post a pic? I'm curious to see how it turned out.
  13. Ya frog tape is great for regular finish work but not plastidip haha. I use frog top all the time for regular paint jobs so I thought it would work with plastidip too but it doesn't. I tried it a couple times with different techniques but it still didn't give the clean lines
  14. Also do not use frog tape it gels on the edges and gives poor lines. Regular blue painters tape is best
