  1. Bramfrank......thanks for the reply. I think that is what was replaced on two occasions......it seems more complex to me though., I wouldn't have thought that by turning the wheel, hard over it would fix it. (Although it is usually only a short fix). I feel it is probably an electrical problem, I am not a mechanic of course, but I don't see how a spring could re-attach itself and then connect again. Whatever the problem is, this seems to be a problem with a lot of Journeys and one would hope the company itself would look for a 'once and for all' fix and recall faulty vehicles. I do have extended warranty so it is not costing me cash-wise but my time is also very valuable to me and the warranty does run out next year. It would be nice to have a fully operational vehicle before then.
  2. My 2011 journey has been back in the garage three times....two separate garages......over the past year for the same problem. It is very frustrating when traveling long distances to have the cruise control stop working. Having to wait for a turnout or rest area so I can stop the vehicle, turn the wheel hard right or hard left to re-engage the cruise becomes annoying. The vehicle itself is everything I need, lots of room for passengers and luggage, the cruise control issue is a huge hindrance.
