Crappy OEM windshield wiper.. who else?

Now these are streaking, I'm not so sure it is just the wipers and maybe the arm as well. This is bullshit. -

I'm an audiopile, so all stock radios suck to me haha. Seats lack bottom cushion. -
Premature Brake Wear < 20,0000!
04redmach1 replied to bob7296's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
You guys are too nice. i told them before I bought the car with brake issues and that I am an asshole. I will leave it at their dealership and take a loaner car. Will not return until my shit is fixed. if they want to complain I will drive the bitch through the front door, no problems here. I'm a southern asshole that doesn't take shit. -

Thats how you save money for such a larger vehicle. Minimum seat cushion, cheap wipers, cheap brakes, cheap interior, cheap radio, cheap materilas period. -
WHY SO FEW JOURNEYS ON THE ROAD?
04redmach1 replied to CountryGirl2's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
Advertising. There wasn't much on them to start. Only reason I knw about it is I am a car guy and pay attention to the new vehicles. But even then I didn't realize it was a 7 passenger and how many features they have. Soon you will see more I am sure. -
Nope FWD. This is by far the most torque steer I have had out of a newer model vehicle. I get 18/19 mpg city.
-
South Ga is the definition of humidity. That is what I was thinking tho.
-
What kind of MPG's are you getting- US owners
04redmach1 replied to 04redmach1's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
I am geting about 18 city, and highway wise at 60mph we can get over 500 miles a tank. Just hit 2000 miles. -
Welcome. I will give ya the run down on just a few things to change or upgrade to keep everything smooth. OEM brakes suck. Look for lots of brake dust and needing replaced from 8k-20k miles. I suggest change to ceramic dust free OEM windshield wipers suck as well. Go ahead and grab some Anco's. OEM headlights are decent, but would suggest brighter halogen or HID's like a few members have done, and mine will be installed soon as well. (thread on these in accessories) That is pretty much all of the bad. Everything is fine, may have to get use to the cruise control when in 6th gear with 5mph +/- flux. If you have ANY questions, just ask

Audio Install Complete

If you really want to make a difference, I can find you a nice component set in your price range to help. Grab a set of plates to run 6.5 comp set instead of the 6x9's. Run an amplifier to them, and you will be more than happy. -

I myself do not do much installing. After I hurt my back, that relaly done it in for me lol. I do however have a VERY good friend who has a local shop and can do pretty much anything tht needs to be done. He does fiberglass, video, audio, alarm, and so forth. He has been installing for around 20 year. He has had 5+ cars on front cover of mags. If you want it done right, I will highly recommend him. I just build subwoofers and know A LOT of technical info As for putting the video up there, do you have rear air? I can also have him look more in depth at mine to see what it takes to add an 8 in the rear panel. I am sure he can do it though, have not seen much that could stop him. Hit me up on yahoo chat or email and I can show you some work. lowhz01 lowhz01@yahoo.com -
Our bumpers were urethane, but trims were plastic. If you know what you are doing maybe it will work, but I have seen it done around here with bad results. Could be shitty shops too. I'm just waiting on a billet accessory for it or cutting.

Only 15% off. They can keep it.

It is possible I am sure at .3, but depends on how far window comes dow too. Have not and will not be cutting my doors up or glassing. Doing some high end 6.5 comps, no need for 8's May even throw a 3 way up front with a 4 inch in the dash, but not sure yet. -
I have seen many paint jobs on plastic (like the avalanche and ford escape body armor) and the paint just doesn't last. Once you get a chip it flakes easy and cracks. Could be our climate, but in the southeast that is what we get. I had a Ford Explorer and the body armor was painted, nothing but issues and looked like crap

I would keep stock size, and run with Michelin tires. As soon as the Kumho's go, here I come Michelin

Holidays. Got to think, you hit thanksgiving and christmas. Some factories will shut down a week for thanksgiving and 2 weeks for christmas. Considering it is a slow economy, I am willing to bet that is what happen. Add 2/3 weeks to your receiving time, and that SUCKS!

I usually keep it in 6th in manual mode on long trips, unless huge incline and does need downshifting or if I am in traffic and need downshifting NEW THING THAT BOTHERS ME!!!!! Is it just me or when you accelerate hard you get a torque steering pull to the right????? Anyone else get this?

Traveling tomorrow and lots of rain in GA so I went and bought some Anco wipers. I have tested many wipers on all my cars, and beleive it or not, even the cheapest Anco's last longer and work better than the Rain X and Bosch wipers. I got the Aero wipers tonight and the sizes are same as 9' models - 24/19. -
Do you get bad trailer sway?
