yea during winter months I wont be able to leave it all in my car but some stuff like rags newspapers for cleaning windows and paste wax can stay all year in the back. -
So I use my back under storage department area in the back of the journey to keep all my cleaning supplies as I live in a apartment so it is more easy to keep them with me in my journey. Only thing I hated was there was no way to hold the back part of the tray up. I found a simple way to modified it so the back tray will stay up. I got some Velcro strap with tape on one side to stick it to the under part of the tray and I use the straps from the third row seat to hold the tray up [/uR

New license plate to compliment my Prius plate :)
Billy Billy replied to HawtDogFlvrWtr's topic in Lounge
if you ever get a charger hellcat. your tag can read Hel2Gas . BTW if you get tired of the prius and want to regain some manhood back ( lol jk maybe ) get yourself a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It gets 48 mpg and will run you 12k ... http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_US/home/motorcycles/2016-motorcycles/sportster/1200-custom.html#!specs I personally want a V-Rod ! -
are you going switch the badge on the steeling wheel and the name in the back to fiat freemont or put a dodge emblem over the fiat badge on the grill? I know this does not help you in getting the grill , Just wondering if you ant to turn your journey into a freemont though this guy is selling one on ebay but it is pickup, maybe you can talk him into shipping it and the grill needs a little touch up http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-13-Fiat-Freemont-Grill-Grille-Oem-LOCAL-ONLY-NO-SHIPPING-/262121191050?hash=item3d07a3f68a:g:I7IAAOSw9mFWNRIV&vxp=mtr http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/fiat-freemont-2012-grille_534451847.html?spm=a2700.7724857.29.46.xTykj1 http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Chrysler-Fiat-Freemont-Grille_758799975.html?spm=a2700.7724857.29.55.xTykj1

From the album: MYDJ2015SECP
Love these chrome door handle covers I brought -
I like my 2015 DJ interior but I got to be honest, I think the 07-10 had a nice interior too , it was one of the better interior before fiat got into the mix. Only thing I dislike about the 07-10 are the interior green odo lights . I like that the 07-10 interior door panels had that chrome stripe on them ! I wish mine had that ..I think no matter which generation DJ you have, you all still have a nice interior !

Well also half of doing that is fun so I guess in the long run its not the end .

dang those are low for full coverage . Not to be noisy but are you two over the age of 50, I know age plays a major part in rates as well as location too . I moved two blocks up the street this past march and my ins drop 5 dollars a month cause of that ! Plus I always have been told credit score plays a major part on rates which I think is dead wrong as credit score should not play a part in rates. I think I need though to call my agent now and bitch lol

I wonder if the insurance co will replace all the extra you have done to your Journey. am I seeing L.E.D halo lights on your journey or is that custom work on those head lights? if so man that will suck cause your have to redo all that ! Anyways at least everyone was ok and that def is good !
-
Don't get comfortable using those back up camera's . Nothing can replace using mirrors, your own eyes and turning your head . I have driven a school bus for 21 years and without a doubt mirrors and using your own eyes will never let you down ...

I was thinking the same thing today watching all those suvs cuv etc go bye how so many are kinda blurred in size and looks but if I was to say the closet competitor for the journey is, I think the Dodge Journey is right in line with the Hyundai Santa Fe as far as size, how many people it carry and height ! I look at both but went with the journey because it had the higher rebate " I am a rebate shopper " and I like hoffman dodge vs massey Hyundai , Hoffman is just the better dealer for my needs

that is interesting. I dont know if sport wagon would make it cheaper or more expensive to insure but mine runs 105 a month for 6 months with 250 ded . I was thinking about changing my ded to 500 to see how cheaper it would be. I kinda feel like I pay too much but state farm so far is the cheapest !

that is a good ideal too ~

that is to black out chrome. I am not sure that would work on silver ally wheels .. If you do use it, post pics !
-
Now I think what can I do with that grill now that I know how to pull that bad boy out. Oh man my mind is in over gear ! Maybe I will spray paint the black inside part of the chrome grill that is black a chrome color or buy some paint that matches my paint and paint it then clear coat it.. I think the black plastic look inside the chrome is cheap. It needs to either be painted or chromed. I think black paint with clear coat would look nice.

Well Never mind, I just pulled it off and took a chance, I am thankful to say it didnt break lol... It is now installed in the lower grill of the bumper this time with the washers and spaces to the nut , haha not me ! I went ahead and took some pictures of it open with 3 tabs in the center that pop out and 2 tabs on the sides that pop out// 2 tabs on the pass side 3 tabs in the center again 2 tabs but on the driver side

I need to install the bottom grill with the allen bots it came with. I try to use 3m tape but it didnt hold up too well and I cant figure out how to get to the bottom grill from under the bottom of the car. I did search but I only find topic on it. I understand how to remove it from the top part but I cant get it to come out from the bottom. I guess I should had ask, do I pull out toward the street or pull up and how much force will it take or is there something on the bottom I need to undo before I try to pull the grill out. I want to pull the top grill out so i can install the lower grill cause it looks like if i get the top grill out completely then I can stick my arm in behind the front bumper and bolt in the bottom grill

I want to remove the front chrome grill on my DJ , My Question is. after I remove the tabs, Do I just pull the grill straight toward me or up wards and then out toward me, I try this last weekend and it look like the bottom of the grill is attached to the bumper still. So do I pull on the honey comb grill toward or leave it alone?
