So I have 3 camshafts in "time", with my marks lining back up at the 12 o'clock marks I marked with my paint pen when the engine was at TDC but I have 1 cam that's not at 12 it's more at the 9 o'clock position So... Front set of cams are in time and at the 12 oclock position, the rear set has the intake cam in time at 12 but the exhast cam is at 9 Question: Can I remove the chain from the cam out of "time" keep the cam bolted in place and manually rotate the cam itself to where the paint marks I made are back lined up with the other cams? (I have the tooth on the cam marked and the chain link marked) than reconnect the chain and will it than be back in time?

2014 dodge journey 3.6 awd Spent the last couple days tearing down the wifes car, replced the oil filter housing and the Rockers and lifters. Buttoned everything up today and go to start and I get a "clunk" sound and than nothing. No codes and no crank... It almost sounded as if the started engaged than backed off...not for sure. Gonna go back in tomorrow but was wondering if anyone's got anything I should check before tearing it all down again. Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure they manufactured the mold wrong they didn't remold it after they fitted it to the 1st mold of the oem base, giving us a "mirror" opposite

Ok, so its what I figured than, this WILL work, but I wont have the ability to viualize the temp setting, it will move, but than revert back to the middle of the setting. I will be able to control the temp, but only through the buttons on the dash, NOT through the touch screen though. I am really wanting navigation, and it seems the only route will be with either: a standalone garmin or tomtom unit an aftermarket double din unit (requires buying the 350$ bezel and havac controls) or getting the 8.4 uconnect with navi and losing the ability to manipulate the temp settings through the touch screen I think I'm just gonna go the OEM way and lose out on the wiz bang ooh ahhh ability of touching the screen to manipulate the temp. It will be cleanest looking and it will actually be easier than replacing with a double din and having to buy the cheap looking aftermarket radio bezel.

anyone? I'm hoping to swap out the stock kumhos on the wifes 2014 sxt awd within the next few days, wanting to go as wide as possible
-
thats what I was thinking, but my only hangup is going from NON FOLDING to a chair that is a fold flat..... I would be sure if I was going from a fold flat to a fold flat that it would work.... Just wondering about the mounting bracket on the floor of the car, are they the same in in both types? I would imagine they are though, but wanna make sure

Hello all, I have a 2014 dj sxt that does not have the fold flat front passenger seat. I was wondering if it would be possible to buy a fold flat seat and just swap it out? Is the mounting bracket the same for both? I can get a fold flat seat used for around 150 locally, just curious if it can be done "plug and play" style?

Finally, My Crossroad Looks Like The Chicago Show Crossroad!

everytime I see a journey in that copperhead orange color, all i see is a bigger sized calibur.... its wierd, something about that color.....i dont think calibur when I see white ones, or black ones, or silver ones....just that burnt orange for some reason I used to have an 04 neon srt 4, loved that car....on stock internals, injectors and turbo, i had that thing dynoed at 429hp and 441ft lb tq to the wheels as a daily driver....a buddy of mine bought one of the calibur srt4 when they first came out and it was sexy.....i can't stand the regular caliburs, but the srt ones can be made to look quite awsome -
drl's? fog lights? oh my.....
tyeayo replied to tyeayo's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
I dont have auto climate, unfortuantly I bet there is a way to hijack the signal from the computer and route it to the headlight low beams....it just seems nonsensical to have drls at 80% power....seems like a gimmick to force ppl to get the auto headlight option at 850 bucks! -
Hello, I bought my wife a 2014 dodge journey sxt awd the other day and I had a few questions. It did not come with auto lights, I thought it did, but alas, no dice. Is it possible to wire in the the headlights with the foglights/drls? Meaning, when I start the car and put it into drive, the foglights come on, but not the headlight. Is there a way to wire the headlights and tie em in with the drls as a cheap way to have auto headlights? also, I would like to add remote start for her, and would like to go through the dealership to keep it as OEM as possible. What did they charge you to add it on?
