2015 Dodge Journey SXT AWD - Proud New Owner
priell3 replied to QuarterSwede's topic in Owner Impressions
Nice review. We are enjoying our Journey. -
My son bought a Glock G19 a few weeks ago and a Remington 870 tactical shotgun last week.

Welcome to the forum. You will find the back seat has plenty of room and easy access for your two kids and still plenty of cargo space in the rear for everything else.
-
Thanks.

I had the 8.4 touchscreen in my Cherokee and now have the 4.3 in the Journey. Personally, I find it adequate. More tech = more distraction. Enough people are driving while paying attention to their cell phones instead of where they are going. I want to enjoy driving, not playing with tech. I can do that at home. I kind of miss my '72 Dodge.

Hard plastic, hard rubber. Whatever the base steering wheel is made of. The AVP doesn't have a fancy, leather-wrapped steering wheel.
-
I added a cover to my steering wheel. I got it from my local Autozone and is listed here http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MB0DJ0K?ref_=cm_cr-mr-title. It is a great match for the interior of my DJ. Big improvement over the hard plastic. It was easy to install and fits tight.

Very noisy when driving through puddles or snow
priell3 replied to ladybug's topic in Exterior & Body
I aim for the puddles! Welcome ladybug. -
Plinking, competition, hunting, collecting or just varmint control (4 or 2 legged). I learned to shoot when I was 5 years old and taught my son at the same age. He's now 21 and starting his own collection. Here is one of my paper punchers, a Marlin 25N that was in rough shape when I got it (free!) and refinished. I'm also licensed to carry, and do so everywhere, all the time (within the law, of course).

Here I am. Name below.

Thanks.

I saw those and was trying to avoid them.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead: Any updates on this part? I figure more products/lower prices could be found now that the Journey has reached maturity. Thanks.

Pictures of new 2017 Dodge Journey

We had a 2013 Dart and liked everything about it except for sitting so low. Prior to the Dart we were in modestly lifted Wrangler Unlimited. This nearly got me a speeding ticket: -
New license plate to compliment my Prius plate :)

My dealer has a Hellcat with an $82K price tag. -
Some more observations - The puddle lamps in the bottom of the doors are a nice feature. Both my wife and I like them. I just checked out the second row in floor storage. Very generous and useful. We are slowly getting used to the remote proximity keyless entry and keyless go. I still reach for my keys. The height of the vehicle makes for easy in and out and the visibility out of the front windshield is excellent.

Sorry to see that. I hope you get it fixed/replaced to your satisfaction fast.
