  1. Do not use liquid electrical tape!!! I used it once and it fried my wiring system on my bike. It soaks into the exposed wire splices and creates a ton of added resistance. Shrink tubes or normal electrical tape is best.
  2. I always replace with aftermarket also but there are 3 tiers in quality and prices of parts. 1st line is best but costs more and 3rd line is cheapest and crapiest. I went 3rd line first they were half the cost of 1st line but only had 90 day warranty. Bushing died again in about 10 months. Then I paid the extra bit to get 1st line and just looking at the part you could tell it was a billion times better quality. Kicked myself for trying to save $100 the first time when the labour cost to do it twice was way more lol. Now it's Moog or nothing lol
  3. If you want less drone than I would suggest turbo style mufflers over chambered and straight thru design. I would do that first then decide if you want to delete the resonator if it's not loud enough.
  4. I always play with the display machine at my local performance shop lol. Wish it was cheaper. There are some performance parts out there tho. Ported lower manifolds and throttle bodies and hp tuner programmer. Google overkill motorsports. It's a guy up here in Canada that makes them.
  5. Also pay the extra dollars for better arms. First time I went with cheap arms and had to replace them in a year and they only had a 90 day warranty. Second time I bought best I could get and they lasted 4 years and we're still good when the car died lol
  6. I tried it once. An hour and a half and no go. Just better to replace the whole arm. Unless you have access to one of those giant hydraulic presses it's impossible to get out.
  7. Lack of a resonator makes it sound a bit raspy which is not ricey its racey lol ricey would be the sound of those shitty can mufflers that make the exhaust sound like bahhhhhh. The 3.6 has enough low tone to it to make the reso delete sound oh so sweet IMO
  8. Can you weld? If not I've had muffler shops do it for $60-$100 depending on the shop.
  9. I think it's 2.5" pipe but not exactly sure since I got a shop to do it.
  10. Worth it for me. Probably won't even hear it over my performance exhausts lol thanks Steve_T for the info.
  11. 2009 Ducati Monster 696 with Termigoni Carbon Fiber Exhaust and performance tuned ECU. 1995 Kawasaki Klx250R factory dirt bike grandfathered in to be fully street legal with every performance mod possible 35 Hp and custom upgraded plastics, fenders, and fork guards off a 2014 KXF. 351cc big bore engine kit to come = 49 HP. At half the weight of the ducati and just under half the hp safe to say she flies for a 250! Lol On nice sunny days it's hard to decide what to ride sometimes Finally my 2016 Journey which is mainly for work, rain, grocery getting, and to haul my Kawi when the trails are farther than 2 hours away.
  12. It was a good one. If there weren't so many cops playing sniper with radar guns I totally would. Lol
  13. Steve_T I would but I actually use my high beams a lot. There's tons of radar traps in and around Toronto and I always warn everyone approaching them with my high beams.
  14. Check the linkage. On my Sebring the linkage right next to the transmission lost all its lube from years of driving in the rain on the highway and occasionally needed some lube to keep it moving smoothly.
  15. Is it a sticker, paint, or trim moulding? Looks good.
  16. I'm in Canada where drl's are mandatory and I sort of hate how they look especially being all dim and how one side turns off when you use a turn signal. I also never use my auto headlights since I like the look of the fog lights on and the main head light off which sort of resembles the look of the higher end cars like Mercedes Benz which uses fogs as Drl's. I'm gonna try and hook up the drl wire to activate a relay which will turn on the fogs as my drl's.
  17. Still haven't put them on but I did test fit them. Offset does not determine if there will be caliper rubbing issues. Mainly the style of rim will determine that. Since the spokes are slightly angled outwards away from caliper and towards the outer lip and don't bend back towards the caliper I've got 2 inches of clearance. If the spoke bends away from caliper towards the lip of the rim you will be safe.

  20. Mount those bad boys on the rear roof pointing backwards to blind tail gaters! Lol. On the plate it makes it look like a under cover cop car lol
  21. Lol wait till my next pic. I just picked up a tilting boss motorcycle carrier for the back of the journey. Getting a hitch installed this week and all the stickers will look more fitting when my bike is on the back being hauled to the forest trails and mx track lol
