  1. They have wider piping and high flowing filters allowing more air to enter. Stock intakes are pretty restrictive. They make them small from factory because less air means less fuel which means higher mpg and that's a big selling point. The really high end ones have twin wall tubing to keep the air cooler. It's really not a myth! Lol why else would race cars use them?? Why do you think the first thing they do is throw the factory intakes in the garbage?? Derp!! Hehehe
  2. Throttle body spacers only work for carburetors. We have injection so it won't do a thing And would be a waste of money. Best way to make it rev up faster is an aftermarket intake and cold air is best. I know a lot of people slam on the short ram intake for it taking in hot air from the engine compartment but if your driving on the highway the hot air is blasted out anyways lol. Had one on my last car. Lost horsepower from off the line cuz when your stopped at a red light the hot air is just welling up but once your moving the hot air is pushed out and if you I was cruising at say 50-60kmph and stomped on the gas it would just take off like a bullet. I drive 90% highway so it was fine for me and they also sound amazing and what's losing 2-3 horsepower anyways lol I ended up removing the rear upper seal at the back of the engine bay below the hood right in front of the windshield to help evacuate the hot engine air at lower speeds. The true cold air systems are pretty expensive but my friend made a pretty nice one for cheap. Got a short ram Intake for $50 and custom fabbed a filter box with 2 big holes and ran 2 big dryer hose ducts to his lower grill.

118 DB's Horns 3X times louder than the stock horns for when you really want that slow ass idiot out of your way or to just scare the crap out of them and dirty their pants! lol
  6. Short term testing showed no mpg gains but the long haul trucks have shown savings in their fuel logs. Like I said it won't save initially but I plan on keeping for at least 8 years at at least 50,000kms a year. It will pay off. In a few years lol. I drive 2-2.5 hours on the highway every day for work. 0.006 reduction in drag won't show anything for 100 miles, 200 miles or even 500 miles but 500,000 miles it will. Also the corolla video wasn't the most scientific and he doesn't state what distance he drove to test fuel efficiency. Here a video that explains and shows how reducing drag saves fuel. https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=171&ebc=ANyPxKq5dk4QWu-FHB3h3rZDgVquBm-ECRdkYvHkhDhOxbz-iw5kr6imqmTbSD8JzbUYh0xp_s9GRyJrMKXUKyUVbN-8eV8OsQ&v=f80a9jssUFU
  7. Hub rings should be used so you don't get vibration at high speed.
  8. My friend has an evo. It's a beast. Dyno'd at 410 awhp. Turbo sounds amazing. He's dumped almost 20 G's into it. It literally flies lol
  9. I just really want the improved mpg and gas savings. Cool looking or not they are proven to work and since I plan on owning at least 8 years it should pay off in a year since I drive about 50,000 km's a year. After that it's just money in the bank baby! Hahaha ps love the vin diesel quote. Lol
  10. Just installed some vortex generators to up my mpg's. Also helps keep the vehicle a lot more stable in strong crosswinds and as an added bonus keeps the rear window a lot cleaner as the air from the roof comes down over the rear window now instead of the air from under the vehicle coming up and swirling over the rear window covering it in road grime. I've had them on previous vehicles and all the trucks at my work (semi's & straight trucks) have them for the long distance drives and get a lot better fuel mileage. They only work above 35-40 mph but I live my life above 70 lol worth the $50 cost in the long run. These aren't the cheap $20 tiny shark fin ones. These are actually what the big trucks, race cars, and airplanes use. Also you can see the custom painted 2 tone green and black dodge emblem I painted and the rear tail light Chrome accents.

All the trucks at my work have them and boast great fuel savings. Worth the $50 cost in the long run and they look pretty cool also.

Close up shot of vortex generators. Looking to up my mpg's and also keeps the rear window cleaner.

Green COB LED lights installed in lower grill. Upper lights to come after new horns are delivered that are louder and won't cast a large shadow in the grill.

  17. If you run it to the battery don't forget a fuse also in case there's a short circuit down the road. Don't want to kill your battery or fry something because of a forgotten $2 fuse. Been there and done that on my motorcycle. Wire rubbed and after 3 years it wore away the instillation around the wire and then fried every wire in the wiring loom. Took me 8 hours to re wire every god damn thing.
  18. Here you go! Video with my Journey outside . Ps check out the led lights going all disco mode lol https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aomsIXErqAw
  19. Plus these mufflers have a lot of sound deadening material in them. I will make an outside recording and post shortly.
  20. Doesn't glow. That would be cool lol but in the day the trim does capture light and sort of reflect it out making the green "pop"
  21. From the album: 2016 Journey

Green grill trim. Can be found on eBay listed as rim edge guard moulding. Would not recommend putting this on your rims as it will fly off at highways speeds but great for adding colour to interior and exterior non spinning parts lol
