  1. I ended up deleting the resonator. The sound was good just wanted it a little more aggressive. Now it sounds great!!! Quite please with what lil rasp is has. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Atwj1Sa4ecE
  2. If using a loc I second dhh3's post about using the rear door speaker as its closer to the back where your amp will be mounted.
  3. Maybe lol never heard of beam blades. Here a pic. They bend and follow any contour pretty good and if they don't make them for the back that really sucks lol
  4. Do they make those "reflex" blades for the rear on the journey? The kind with no hinge and if you lift the blade off the glass it bends into almost a U shape? Those are the best blades by far.
  5. I drive anywhere from 150-300 km's a day. I'm a consultant and travel to clients homes so at least 4 hours a day driving. Good sounding music keeps me sain lol
  6. Love my Journey and everything about it....except the speakers. My 2006 Sebring had much better 6x9's or at least put out more watts to them. All I did was add a 2,000 watt sub and kept the factory head unit and stock interior speakers and it was actually a well balanced sound. I am an audiophile and will be doing my stereo upgrades soon enough. The same songs that sounded good in my factory Sebring just sound bad in the journey. I'm the kind of car guy who falls deeply madly in love with my vehicles and keep them until they die of old age. My Sebring lasted 9 1/2 years and well over 500,000 km's. I plan on keeping this journey for at least 10 years if I can lol again, everything is amazing but to me the stereo is lacking. I don't cry tho becuase my Sebring was around the same price and the most advanced technology it had was cruise control and power locks and windows hahaha this keyless entry and go is amazing and so is the touch screen. Even tho there are hvac knobs I quite enjoy using the touchscreen controls. 2 months in and I'm still reaching for the key in the ignition to turn it off lol
  7. Damn you! My journeys 2 months old and most of the stupid pop rivets were hard as hell to get out. I literally had to shoot them with wd40 lol LED fog light bulb on right OEM fog light bulb on left 30 watt led bulbs
  8. Damn I was in too much or a rush cuz it seemed to take forever to get the fender cover off then trim the tabs etc etc. Next time I got a free hour I'll put the rubber rings from the oem ones on lol thanks for the tip.
  9. Just installed my led fogs and they were correct part # and looked just like the correct pics above with tabs in the right places. Tabs were too far left my 2 mm and had to cut them all off. Also LED's wouldn't go in unless I took the rubber seal off. It was way too thick. I'm not too worried as that are is super well protected from water unless I go driving through a river or small lake! Lol those are the worst lights ever to install just because of where they are located. I highly recommend LED's as they last 30,000-50,000 hours as opposed to 900 hours. If I had to change those every year or so I would kill myself! Lol
  10. With the amped door speakers and sub right under you, you could probably have straight pipe and no mufflers and still hear your music just fine lol. It's actually super quiet inside. Sine it's a packed muffler with no drone I actually have to turn the radio off and open the window to hear em. Most of the sound is behind the vehicle and your constantly driving away from it lol. Had to ask my friend to drive it down the street while I stood on the sidewalk to hear what it sounds like lol it isn't really all that loud and sounds very similar to a highly tuned infinity G35 or Nissan 350z. No where near as loud as hollow flowmasters that sound like a race car. Stereo is my next install. Got 2 amps left over from my last car. Need to get 4-6x9's and sell my competition 2,000 watt 15" type R sub cuz I need room in the back and gonna do 1500 watt 10" sub in a small bass tube behind the 3rd row. The set up in my last car could hit 143 decibels. Won a couple of sound drag competitions with it.
  11. No I kept the res as I don't like the crazy raspy sound you get when you delete it. Here's the link for info about them. http://www.flopro.com/max.html It's a packed muffler with sound deadening material so I think that may be why they don't drone. I find the big empty space v style baffle mufflers drone too much cuz the sound just bounces around and around reflecting off every surface and angle.
  12. Just got my Flo-Pro Max mufflers installed. Not as loud as magnaflows or flowmasters but has a nice low rumble and growl. Chose these because they quiet right down once you hit a steady constant rpm so no drone at all. Only hear it when the revs are rising or dropping. This is the middle of their line for loudness. This is my 3rd vehicle I've put Flo-Pro's on. For me I love the sound and how they quiet right down. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KjwAO13JKtU
  13. Probably wouldn't last long doing full 150hp nitrous shots but Zex has a 15-35hp "safe shot" NO2 Kit for around $350 that shouldn't blow your motor or tranny. http://www.zex.com/zx/safe-shot-nitrous-system-from-zextmhtml/
  14. There's "STS Turbo" that is a completely universal turbo as it connects to the exhaust further downstream so no need for a custom exhaust manifold. Doesn't add crazy amounts of power since it uses smaller turbo's but it does add a good amount of a boost in power. Google their setups and webpage. Once you see how they do it you can just build one yourself for even cheaper. It's pretty simple. The company is actually closed now but the owner could probably help find a company to do a tune program.
  15. Definitely a Chrysler problem. Broke it on my intrepid and also my Sebring. Cheap plastic and probably brittle from a lot of cycles of really hot to freezing cold being parked outside in the winter. I always got it out with a single small drop of crazy glue on the broken handle and carefully touched it to the broken part stuck in the tube. Waited a few minutes for it to dry fully and shot a squirt of wd40 and it slide right out. I noticed they both broke shortly after the yellow plastic on the handle went from bright yellow to a dull yellow. Probably because the plastic was past its lifetime. My dipsticks weren't really stuck either. The plastic was just so brittle they broke with just a light pull.

  21. I got overly excited when I read the title lol here's my bike I can never keep clean. This is the cleanest she's ever been. I get pulled over a lot because the plate is usually caked with an inch of mud. This is my favourite vehicle and my journey is my beater and hauler when the trail is more than 4 hours away and I don't feel like riding street that far. Haha
  22. Ya possibly 5w a diode. I want to know the wattage the lights pull. Thanks.
  23. It's called gap filler molding or gap trim molding. Has a thin tail edge the slides deep into the gap and the round top stay exposed that way you don't have to glue it down or use 2 sided tape which can ruin the surface if you want to change the colour or remove it. Got it off eBay for $1 a foot.
