Ok .. I gave up and brought it to a dealership . Told them what I knew and they quickly found the problem . It was the wire connector for the starter. I was close , just had the wrong end. It was a $35 part and they charged me over $500 to replace it. I hope this helps the next person with this problem, just a faulty connector. It's nice to be able to drive it again. Thanks to everyone who tried to help .
