You have delivered one very scary story-sounds like the late 70's instead of today I'm seriously thinking of selling mine while I can get SOME money for it before they become worthless The Toyota Venza is nice but not as big although more luxurious Mine (touch wood) has been relatively problem free & runs good and the gas mileage has increased to over 22mpg from 20 I do like the vehicle just worries me that it is going to start falling apart Good Luck

How have we survived without these monitors?-simple check your tire pressure If they are so important they should be installed on every Rim from the start

This I believe could be a serious issue with ALL Journeys My BANG noise was caused by the Strut Bearing being PUNCTURED by the Strut Spring & the Spring becoming jammed inside the Bearing close to actual Strut The reason for this is that the Strut Bearing assembly is made completely of PLASTIC!!!!!! No metal at all in the assembly not even a bushing I'm going to contact Chrysler as is my dealer & the mechanic also told the parts person to order a bunch of them as they are going to be a problem As a side note my left front spring is already starting to shift so next week they are going to install a new one on that side I have taken pictures but cant seem to get them to upload but I can send them to an email if you wish to view them Larry

To reset the oil change indicator can be tricky-but I do it myself as I change my own oil

You can plug your Ipod into the AUX no problem -the Ipod will have to run off its own battery though unless you have a charger for the 12 volt socket

You also have the luxury of diesel availability-it would be a nice thing here to @ least have the choice

Your dealer is giving you BS-I have a RT & my dealer sold me 16" steel rims with no problem & I put 215/70's on with no problem at all The only issue is my "low pressure" light is on as I did not purchase the sensors for the wheels-but for the price of them I will ignore the light Part #4721566AC

Well they are ordering a Strut -Strut Bearing & Plate & Stabilizer Link to see if will cure the bang

I believe were cooked they will have the money & there will be no help @ all-probably no dealerships anyway

I have developed a terrible bang in the right front strut or strut mount going through bumps that extend the strut then compress it not when it is compressed then normal

My will go down but not up

Mirano is a great vehicle but is far more money than the top of the line Journey RT The Edge Ltd is also more money than the RT If I was going to spend $ 50000 on a vehicle it would be a Buick Enclave without hesitation in my opinion a great SUV

I got the 16" steel wheels with 215/70/16-Winterforce

On my RT I use the steering wheel control on the left until "settings" appear then it can be changed in that mode

On my RT you can change the settings with the steering wheel controls

If it is still doing it I would drive to the dealer while its screwing up & make them observe what is happening so the "cannot duplicate" issue does not arise-if it breaks so be it especially if they cant see you for a week
