It was a no go. I even talked to the engineering tech at Dodge. They said if it didn't come off of the assembly line like that, there is no way to add the travel link. Not done yet. I'll find a way

I made an appointment for my vehicle next Wednesday. Having them activate the trailer wiring also. Asked how much it would cost and they said since I bought the DJ there and its under warranty , the wouldn't charge.

OK here is the process to get the MORE button icon and travel link. ICON FOR TRAVEL LINK AND TRAFFIC MISSING 1) Send an email to Dodge Customer Care. Let them know that you've upgraded your system to an RB5 unit and that you need to have the sales code "RSM" added to your VIN. Tell them which dealer you use, since they will use them to authorize/perform the update. 2) Your dealer will contact you and quote you a price for adding the sales code. If you can bundle this with a backup camera, even better! 3) After you have agreed to have the service done, you will need to pre-pay the service charge. The dealer will then contact Chrysler/Dodge and authorize them to add the sales code on their end - again, the dealer cannot add the RSM code locally. 4) When Chrysler/Dodge gets the code added to your VIN, they'll contact the dealer and let them know that it's been completed, and the dealer should contact you. 5) Take the car in to the dealer and let them reflash your sales codes. After that, you'll have the "More" icon in the corner and Travel Link should be working fine.

Yes it shows travel link subscribed in the dealer menu.

I have the 2 car green button in the nav screen for traffic but no travel link

The travel link was suppose to be in the "MORE" icon which I don't have.

what am I looking for?

Only issue I have is I subscribed to travel link, but I don't have the MORE icon on my unit. It has the setting icon instead. I cant find the travel link info. Not sure whats up with that?

I'm going to call Nav repair on Monday. they have an update that updates to the current rb5 software. I will see why ours has a settings icon and not a more icon. I just subscribed to traffic and travel link and the travel link isn't showing up.

Mine is from the stats and has the setting icon

While in navigation mode, look at the lower left hand of screen, you should see a return arrow, press that and it should take you to it.

I have a 2016 crossroad and actually just finished the swap. My donor was from a 2014 charger. Worked with out a problem

Install was 5 minutes, Unit works great, was wondering, to update it, firmware and maps. Do I use the donor vin or is it now married to my vehicle since I had to input the anit theft code?

I just installed mine literally 10 minutes ago. I went to my local dodge dealer with the radio and VIN and they gave it to me for free.

Ok, I got an RB5 from a 2014 DJ. Cant wait for my 16 to have NAV and XM Traffic. You guys are a plethora of Info!!! Hope fully when received I can get the unlock key quickly. I hate waiting. lol I think in going to order the lock pick? if that's what its called. I hate the fact that you cant change nav info on the fly. What if a passenger wants do do it?

I contacted OEM Radios and they said that the charger radios might not work with the journeys. Have any of you used a donor receiver from a charger that worked?

What years and part numbers will work with my 16 crossroad?. I see posted that the charger 8.4 rb5 will work also? Ive been brousing the forum's but just want to know what nav version of the Rb5 I should get.
