Nice job. Some nerf bars would add to the black accents. Or even a bumper guard. Anyway, just thinking outloud.

That's great that it worked out for you from some free adviser from that mechanic. Might be nice to tell everyone what he suggested that worked. And might be nice to give him props for helping you in case someone else in your area might want to use him. Always good to hear a positive comment on a mechanic.

No check engine light, but car won’t accelerate
Armando G replied to Marley's topic in Engine & Transmission
Agreed with OhareFred... keep in mind that warranty is 5yrs/100k miles. Hopefully you are under 100k miles. Starting to see more of these tranny issues lately, asking with mine that was just replaced. Get it in to Dodge. -
WA sun... as soon as you go inside, the sun peeks out. Although, I love skiing Crystal Mountain when the sun is out. Welcome.

Battery Dies /car start button issue
Armando G replied to danielle123's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
No need to go to Dodge to test most of the stuff suggested. You can get most tests done at a parts store - Autozone, Pep Boys, etc - most of them don't charge you to test like Dodge will and it will at least eliminate some things. You might even get an answer to gio to Dodge with. Unless you have an extended warranty... then by all means. -

Rename your 400+ files...jk. I noticed the same, but since mine are on shuffle, it really doesn't matter to me. -
Welcome to the group. Very formal intro, I'm impressed.

Sure wish some of the OP's would update their posts. Otherwise I feel like we're just wasting our time responding to these people. -
I was thinking you drive downhill to work - in both directions to get that gas mileage

Comparison and Review of the cars I drove on my vacation.
Armando G replied to NavalLacrosse's topic in Lounge
Interesting. I like testing out cars while on vacation too, just haven't had the 'opportunity' to drive completely foreign cars like you listed. Good read. ? -
The only reason I know of this happening in a car is moisture. If you are 100% sure it's not the heater core, look at other options. Leak in the back door, leak in the sunroof (if you have one), door seals ripped... it could be any of those as well.

Very cool. Are those mirrors on the hood? Reminds me of my old MG. I do like the black accents. Great job.

So you bought a USED car, I assume you did not take it in to get inspected by a reliable mechanic, had issues that clearly could of been caught before the purchase, bought the car anyway, and now you're blaming Dodge?!?! Dodge doesn't control how the previous owner maintained it. Dodge didn't tell you to buy a car without fully inspecting it. Blame whomever sold you the car. Blame yourself for not doing your due diligence before buying it. Hell, did you even look under the car before buying it? You might of seen the leak at that point! Otherwise, I have a perfect VHS player for sale... crystal clear picture. Welcome to the forum

Tell her to take a four stance position inside the car while you hold the latch open, and do the reverse. Hut one, hut two, GO!!! I assume there is something stuck in the latch.

Let's be honest, most people nowadays don't even know what they are truly for and put them on for looks only.

Battery Dies /car start button issue
Armando G replied to danielle123's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
First instinct points to the alternator, I would get that checked. If not, something is draining your battery and you would need to do a draw test (there is a post on this subject in here somewhere). Keep in mind that even though the battery is newer, it still might be bad... get it tested. Where did you get the battery? And what kind of warranty does it have? Batteries do cause a lot of issues in these cars. -
BTW... if by shimmy you mean vibration, that is not normal in my DJ. And I believe that should not be normal in any car.
