  1. Welcome to the group. Enjoy the new ride... looks good.
  2. Sounds like a dead battery. Another guy couldn't pull his key out with the battery dead.
  3. Welcome. FWD... not as much fun on a dirt road.
  4. Not sure the dealership would of done all that. Was the car driving before you did the battery work? Seems strange that all of that happened suddenly.
  5. Sounds exactly like what happened tio my car. Luckily I was still under warranty...
  6. From experience, if your horn is out it is probably your clock spring. You can test your horn by connecting a wire to the positive wire and touching your positive tower on the battery. If it beeps, then it's not a fuse or wiring - it's your clock spring. If it doesn't beep, then the challenge begins... start checking wires. Replacing your clock spring is not hard, just time consuming and you need special tools to remove the steering wheel. Tools can be rented.
  7. Here's some solutions... most I see mention low voltage. Try connecting jumper cables. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.700r4transmissionhq.com/dodge-journey-key-stuck-in-ignition/amp/
  8. Are these pictures for your songs, or just pictures? Not clear why you guys are loading pictures.
  9. No easy way to fix wiring. Just a lot of testing, fixing, and/or replacing. Just check if anything is binding on the door, then start disconnecting, checking for corrosion, and cleaning, reconnecting tightly, or replacing.
  10. Congratulations!!! You'll love it. Bet the picture was you finally leaving the dealership after arriving at 10am and getting through all the paperwork, negotiations, upselling, and dealership crap. At least that's how my purchases usually go.
  11. It's like removing the light switch...
  12. Apparently a lot of people like the 4cyl, that's all they're selling now.
  13. From what I gather... they were getting battered from all of the shaking... or, 'they kept driving with the tire flat'. Changing the battery probably won't help.
  14. As OhareFred said, try neutral. If nothing, get the battery checked, check the battery connections, etc, etc... Are you mechanically inclined?
  15. Go back to where you got the tires installed and tell them they aren't working. They should of made sure it was all good before giving it back to you.
  16. Are you trying to connect a detector or towing lights (connector)? If it's prewired, it's usually a green connector. You can ask your dealer if it is prewired by giving them your VIN. You would need to buy the harness and have them flash your DJ to make it work.
  17. Wheel Sensors are easy to replace. I would buy at least a pair (front or back) so the full axle is complete.
  18. If your recirculation button is just blinking (and then turning off), and you have auto temperature, then it's usually the moisture sensor. I don't have auto temp control, but my last car had this issue. I replaced the sensor and it started working. In the meantime my temps were all screwy. That might be the main cause of your issue. I believe the blinking is a warning that your sensor is out. Most sensors are behind the rear view mirror...again mine doesn't have this feature so not sure.
  19. Amazing they even let it go so cheap. Good luck on the repair. Let us know how it works out.
  20. 4pm, channel 5... yet I have no idea why anyone would go on the show? Funny story, my son filed a suit against his last property manager and he received an invitation to the show. When the owner of the property heard of the situation, he called my son and settled quickly (side note - my son is a lawyer).
  21. Welcome. Hope you enjoy your 2nd choice (or third). What was your first choice?
  22. Thanks for the post, my oil change is due and thinking of doing it myself this time. Mines a '15, so I'm assuming I don't have these parts?
  23. Welcome. Assuming the change was for growing family reasons? In any case, enjoy the new DJ.
