  1. I am in the market for new tires, unfortunately not in CT. Good looking set...good luck.
  2. Two things... Great product, mostly if you have a performance car that you want to monitor and tweak with the performance (had one previously). As far as having on a daily driver, for me too much information is sometimes not good. I personally start freaking out too easily when I see something not quite right, even though it is not a problem. Use it with a bit of discretion, but very nice to have. More importantly, your buddy offered you a free, pretty darn good item, and you got him to deliver it for free on top of that?!?! DAMN, he must be a nice guy...
  3. Welcome and congrats on the New purchase. I suggest roof cross rails if you don't already have them. Great for tying things down and carrying equipment. Maybe a hitch for pulling a small trailer with your bigger tools.
  4. Curious why you wouldn't just wait until the oil message came on? As long as it comes on within an acceptable amount. You can always check it for clarity. As far as type, full synthetic.
  5. UPDATE...he has the original DJ model. 40 mph is actually amazing...
  6. Great write-up with a lot of information that I think does NOT come to anyone's surprise. A lot of the annoyances you described are things I notice as well on my 2015. The interior creaks on mine did go away after a nice detail job (or I was too distracted by the shine). The creaks over the bumps are a little frustrating, but apparently pretty common. I think these cars are a great deal for the money. I've had mine for about a year and half, and I still feel pretty lucky to have found it. Thanks for taking the time.
  7. Congrats on the new DJ, sounds really nice. Don't be shy to post pics and welcome.
  8. Apparently he is still trying to drive home to respond...JK. Pretty vague posting. Maybe with more information, more help can be offered.
  9. I assume you will need to take extra care coming down driveways (I scrape the front every so often). Personally, I don't get the lowering of SUV/CUV's, but I do like the black rims.
  10. Sounds like a great price, should work fine...worst case scenario, you can resell them and make a little profit.
  11. Looks great. Did you get the wiring harness or is yours pre-installed? I bought the ebay package that included everything, and love it. Make sure you retorque in about a month, or after your first use.
  12. Here let me correct that statement...Since he left everyone in the dark of what the issues are (as you all, except OhareFred, put the car down)...the focus was supposed to be on how vague the post was, not really the ensuing comments.
  13. WHAT?!?! Posts that have no real connection to the subject...that really grinds my gears.
  14. Damn, you all realize that 'major' to him might have a completely different meaning to me and you. Since he left everyone in the dark of what the issues are (as you all put the car down), I can only assume they aren't that huge or I would guess he would want answers right away. Hopefully he will expand on these 'major' problems at some point. Or maybe he already found a resolution browsing through the forum...at least he found the forum
  15. Nice looking ride jk...looks fun and fast. Congrats on the ribbon. I want to get some toys again.
  16. It would seem that the throttle body issue may be the one affecting the B3813 code. Here is some info on that... http://enginedtc.com/p3813-dodge-journey
  17. Welcome. Are you joining all Dodge forums? Or is a Journey the one you are shooting for?
  18. Never a good idea to mix and match (mostly electrical), but it is possible if you can't get a hold of the right part. In your case, you can...just need to deal with a return.
  19. Here are instructions for a 2010. Not knowing what year yours is, makes it a little harder but I assume it shouldn't be too much different. http://www.wkjeeps.com/misc/Journey/2010_Journey_3_5L_Trans_Fluid.pdf
  20. Remember the old days when you would just turn your head...just saying.
  21. Welcome to the forum. Good looking Journey...congrats!!!

    just saying

Thanks for the comparison(???) in the Journey forum.
  23. Oil change advise in a fuel type post??? $20 for a full synthetic oil change is kind of unbelievable...BTW.
  24. Around my area SF, California, $80 for a full synthetic is pretty standard. And I am not necessarily talking about the dealership.
