  1. The guys on Diesel Brothers did an El Camino.
  2. I assume you have to cut the original ones off to get those tips on? I've never done tips myself... but usually like the look.
  3. I would suggest telling us what 'you' have done so far before asking this type of question. If you're CE light is on, have you had it checked, or just ignored it? If your DJ isn't shifting, have you checked the fluid? Hell, did you get it checked before or after buying it, or just go by your friend's word? Is this your first car? Finally, how about some punctuation in your entry? This isn't texting.
  4. Only the pompous, 'keep up with the Smith's ', 'look at me', type of people. My area has at least 3-4 Tesla's on every block. Or the biggest Jeep wrangler, with the biggest tires, so they can venture out to the grocery store safely. Not us.
  5. I've never seen (or maybe noticed) one off those before. I would assume if done right it might look good.
  6. This might help... https://www.factorychryslerparts.com/cars/Dodge/2013/Journey-SXT--36L-V6-AT/Body/Journey-SXT--36L-V6-AT-parts.html
  7. On a previous car I did, so they (Curt) suggested I keep it off unless towing and no issues after that. Have always done it on my DJ because I'm a person of habit and haven't had any issues in the 3 years I've used it. My old car's bulbs would blow, or the fuse would blow... it was an Explorer with a huge battery.
  8. Good job. Always nice to get stuff like that done. Make sure to keep the fuse for the wiring harness off. I keep it in my glove box for when I need to connect it.
  9. HOLD ON @jkeaton!!! Where the heck are you? Out of curiosity I looked at prices in my area a couple of weeks ago and it was higher. I also got the message below... yes, I'm in California. Probably why I couldn't find a cheap one
  10. 96 Ford with good original blades... hard to believe.
  11. Thanks for posting the video. I'm sure it will help someone at some point.
  12. Damn, I was going to suggest the video. Glad you found it.
  13. DON'T BUY IT... MOVE ON!!! We don't need another member that is going in with a negative attitude from the start. First sign of trouble, you'll blame the car (or Dodge) without considering the age of the car and how every 10+ year old car is going to need work. If it doesn't feel good, don't do it.
  14. I don't really like the back door locks too much myself, but it is a safety feature I suppose and I guess it's not that hard to push the button. As far as the driver side door not locking, there are a few posts with suggestions on here. Do a search and start there.
  15. I'm sorry, but this sounds like a rhetorical question... what would you do if you were stuck on the side of the freeway?
  16. I like the look of the front end ? Did you do the work yourself?
  17. Maybe a junk yard will have one? Don't know if they'll sell just the foam?
  18. Let's be honest, cars are usually a headache and sometimes you just get lucky. I religiously have maintained my cars and have had great experiences, along with bad ones. It happens. If you think Dodge is the only bad car, then you have been lucky with all your other cars. Every issue I have had with my other cars, I've been able to find a solution/ repair online because others have had the same issue. Personally, I love my 15 DJ, even though I did have to have my transmission replaced (under warranty). As Larryl mentioned, for the price of these cars, they are a great deal. Sorry you're not happy.
  19. I'm sorry Donny, but reflashing doesn't teach it how to start after a battery change. I do hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does you may have to check the connections again... mostly the ground wire.
  20. Acclimatized = connection cleaned and tightened Is that what that means?
  21. Good looking DJ. You guys ate definitely an SUV type of household.
  22. This was another 'one post wonder'... not even worth replying to.
  23. Check the relays (Google for location), or read this thread from a great site that's full of searchable help...
  24. Sounds like it's been doing a lot of weird things and you have ignored them until now - that it's not starting. All those little things are clues that something is happening... start with Naval's suggestion.
