  1. These? 05149132AA, Sensor, Exhaust Temperature, Before DPF 05149131AA, Sensor, Exhaust Temperature, Before Turbo 05149133AA, Sensor, Exhaust Temperature, After DPF
  2. I'm no help. I'd rebuild what it has.
  3. High school buddy had an old headlights behind glass type. Barely enough heat to melt frost off half the windshield. Smoked like a mosquito fogger. A ragged out, rusted death trap. It was great.
  4. What's the replacement? I don't know what I'll get next but I'll keep the Journey until salt eats it. Maybe an EV. Or a Durango. I'm all over the place.
  5. How many miles on it when you bought it and do you know the first owner? Some people pour in additives like LubeGard and Slick 50 thinking they are doing good. Wouldn't be a bad idea to do a few drain and fills or flush it. ATF+4 is cheap(ish). Isn't the powertrain warranty five years? Let it set overnight at the dealership, ride with the tech in the morning and point it out. Having it documented may get you some consideration if it goes kaput after the warranty is up.
  6. You want different sizes front and rear or only buy two tires at a time and will eventually end up with four of the same?
  7. Happy I bought it. I'd buy another, but with a V6. Maybe another 4cyl if mated to a transmission with more gears or, dare I say, a CVT.
  8. Hello 5rebel9. I like RA too. The Mopar unit there is $822 + $311 freight (only option). They also sell aluminized steel products but I remember that stuff. There's plenty of stainless aftermarket bullet type resonators available but I worry about drone inside the cabin and noise out the rear. I don't like noisy cars. I'll probably search the local salvage lots for a low mileage donor. Mine is an 09 SE four banger. It's has high mileage so I'm not bummed about it, though I've had GM products with higher miles and no exhaust repairs.
  9. Exhaust pipe cracked at weld, back of mid-muffler/resonator. It’s old. The O.E. replacement is a cat back assembly. From online Mopar discount parts sites it’s $1,000 USD to my door. Price made me chuckle. I could do Viper style side pipes or cut a hole in the hood and flip the exhaust manifold.
  10. Stab in the dark. Does the traction control lamp show when it bogs?
  11. Nice. 330,000 km / 205,000 mi on my '09. I agree about features. Too bad for buyers FCA discontinued it. Jeeps and Rams.
  12. Makes me appreciate the android auto in my truck with constantly updated maps Until they decide to end support for that too.
  13. Was it doing this before you added the fuel injector cleaner?
  14. So long OhareFred. Bad time to have to buy a car. Your son is getting the Elantra, what do you think you'll get to replace the Journey?
  15. Glad you got it fixed. I once put a small bottle of Gumout fuel injector in a 3/4 full tank and within a few miles it ran as you described. Spent part of a day driving the gas out. Filled up at same station and within a few miles it smoothed out. CEL stayed on for some restarts but it ran fine.
  16. Did you do the sanding and spraying? What was your process, paint selection, shot in booth? Looks like a good spray free of runs and I like the hammered finish.
  17. Front wheel well liner is dirty. Looks nice.
  18. Oooh, a Bug thread. OldBug (.com) has for sale a '49 that's so clean it looks fake. Don't look if you're an impulse buyer. A friend in high school had a worn oval window. No power, lots of smoke, rust everywhere. Lift up the mats and see the road. Zero heat. It was great. If you could have back one of the five ?
  19. Failed head gasket or cracked head? Wasn't 2012 one of the years for left cylinder head issues? If so I believe FCA offers extended warranty coverage.
