Trim installed..... was directed to body shop by my dealer to get a better installed job,when it came to pay.. My dealer had paid for me, now thats service for you. cant fault them at all.. Are the rear controls part of the 5 seat version? Interested as i dont have rear controls on my R/T didnt think much of it but they were good in my 08 Grand caravan, they were fitted in the car i test drove the Seven seater..

Cheers Warbird, well tonight i was peaking through my dealers window at my polished new toy...looks just like the above headlining pictures less the crome wheels, it arrived a week or so early and tomorrow at 9 ill hit the road i hope in it.. cant wait.

No Journey yet, Its in the F stage? And due to be shipped out on the 25th May... Add another what 3 weeks for the slow train to Canada so 15th june would be nice. Have a VIN # and VON #.... But today was the Day i retired my 2008 Grand Caravan from its Lease, it did well moving concrete bags and 8x4 dry wall sheets and still looking good, hope the Journey does as well. So now i'm running around in an UGLY but fast Sibring 3.5 limited loaner, is this the same engine? If so i hope it keeps its zesty reving? i should say it moves when you push it..

I'll sign on with my 2010 RT once it gets up here in Canada, its in the "C" stage of ordering/building so a while to go yet. A week or so till i get a Vin number. So late may through june/july i'll add my car to the list.

Reading a lot of topics in here, I’m a Brit in exile here in sunny Canada… Why is it we don’t get a chance of ordering a stick shift and/or diesel, its not like they have to retool or anything its all the same factory.. Would give more options and a wider market it is a world vehicle after all? I like bells and whistles, toys and not what, practical and useful it seems the test ride I had for a few hours was fun in the white stuff.. But something a little easier on gas would be nice. At least I’m used to drinking the stuff with my current ride. Having had to give up my toy a few years ago a Peugeot 306 dti with all the trimmings, and move into a 3.3L 04 Dodge Caravan on moving here thirsty oh yes.. now a 3.3L 08 Grand caravan (know over there as the voyager still) loved driving them in the weather and don’t need the space anymore great for carrying 4x8 sheets for diy projects I will miss that but a shiny new Journey on its way through the factory now…oh to be a diesel and stick shift.. So any one reading this in the know, it would be interesting to know what’s in the future happy to trade up in a few years to diesel and such. Fiats sort of getting in on the act.. ?

Has any one picked up the silver version of the bumper protector that is shown in Jcolmenar’s post? Or even the stainless steel one? Looking to buy but would love to see an image that’s not the dealers and other peoples ideas on this? I don’t think the price is huge the cars $30k before discounts and I’d like to pimp it out to some degree.. This one? I don’t know if this goes for European models to? ordering options today for my factory build I was told that ipod connectivity was not an option with the navigation package for what ever reason, even came up on screen when configuring the vehicle, ill stick with the My Gig and ask the wife to read the maps…lol

Cheers guys, cracked today returned to dealer as the car isn’t in production yet added the Trailer prep and safe and sound group’s.. Won’t need the video group as its got the 110v outlet in the rear for 2 cheap net books works for me.. At 23 I was driving a Daihatsu Charade GTi a little 993cc turbo eons old already, was another 10 years till I got a new car, so at 23 with a large wagon not bad going. Its got a ton of goodies to bolt on it aftermarket already..

Hailing from North of Toronto Like the toys on this, was thinking of replacing my SXT 2008 Caravan with a 2010 model but this car in this colour caught my eye so now leaving my 2nd big box on wheels for something a little more shiny.. done the black nice colour my 2008 was red very nice so time to change. And looking to add a few parts down the road, the german trunk/rear bumper protector in silver is on the wish list..
