  1. @09RT did you replace the fender yourself? If so, how much work was involved? I need to replace mine as well.
  2. @2late4u I pulled it and the radio still plays just fine. I assume this means the fuse doesn't do anything or isn't connected to an amp. The amp wouldn't have any way to play if the fuse was unplugged, I would think. So would it be safe to say it doesn't have a factory amp installed at this point?
  3. @km-04I did buy it new. It wasn't on the sticker nor is it listed in any of the equipment on that web page you mentioned. I am curious though because the fuse box under the glove box has a spot for the 25 amp "amp" fuse and the fuse is installed. If there wasn't an amp there I wonder if they would still put that fuse there.
  4. I am wanting to install some audio upgrade equipment. How can I be utterly sure my journey does or does not have a factory amplifier? I checked under the seat and didn't see anything. Then again, I just looked under the seat not under the carpet beneath the seat. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  5. @Kwyjibo Where did you mount everything? I like how it looks like it is pretty well out of sight.
  6. If your journey comes with a factory amp and sub it can be quite the task to remove it. I have seen several videos of where they had to remove the 3rd row seat and the second row seats to even start to get at the factory sub location. As for the room in there I wouldn't think there would be room for much of anything aftermarket due to most diagrams I have seen showing a very shallow sub. The motor on most aftermarket subs most likely wouldn't fit without extensive modification. I have researched this topic to death over the last few months because I am planning on doing a whole music upgrade as well. Thankfully I dont have to worry about bypassing or playing nice with a factory amp as mine does not have one. The PAC module should be fine if it plays well with the can bus.
  7. I have a non remote starter Journey. I saw the kit os for sale online from mopar. Has anyone installed this or similar kits? I am wondering since it is all factory stuff if it is just plug and play or not. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Hey Nice set up! I was wondering what you hooked the subs in to. Do you have an after market radio or an LOC? If you used an LOC where did you tap in to?
