@Summer Solstice thanks for the feedback.I will look and see if I can locate the notch. Hopefully the repair bill isn't too bad.

I set my emergency brake last night and heard a thud sound. Pushed the pedal to release it and it just clicks without catching. Looked underneath and wires look shredded. Is there any way to release brake so I can drive it to mechanic for repair or do I have to get it towed?
