First post. Hope someone can help. 2012 SXT 3.6L 6 speed. With the transmission in Drive the accelerator pedal shudders past 40 MPH. When I drop it into the manual mode, all is fine in gears 1-4. In 5 and 6, regardless of RPM, the accelerator pedal will shudder when I try to give it gas. I’m not sure if this is a gear problem, a shift sensor problem, a speed sensor problem, or something else. But it is not a problem with the front end, or with the engine. I can go 60+ MPH in 4th with no problems. But it obviously shifts into 5th at 40 MPH when in Drive and I see the problem. It will drift on up to higher speeds and shift into 6th, but you just can’t give it much gas or it will shudder. By shudder the actual pedal shuttle pumps against your foot and you can feel the vehicle stalling down not being responsive to the pedal. 191k miles. Thanks so much.
