So I have this 2012 dodge journey sxt 3.6l. One day the gasket for the coolant in the oil housing adapter gave way and hot coolant shot all over and got inside the engine. Melted lower intake manifold, destroyed the oil housing adapter and melted a little bit of both camshaft position sensors. I replaced everything n put it together. No start, crank but no start. So i took it apart and the upper intake manifold had coolant in it. I drained the oil and coolant got in the engine again. I squeezed the coolant hose and it came out the drain pan. Anybody tell how this could happen again? Do i have to get inside the block to change a gasket or what?
