The back mufflers are gone in which they just bent two new pieces of pipe to exit out the back with a couple after market chrome tips. I'm really not trying to make it sound like my Hemi in the Durango, just want to tone it down. Any after market resonators I could buy and put in where the back mufflers used to be?? Again, any suggestions. I wonder if there's enough room to put a larger Magnaflow muffler where they put the small 4" tubular muffler.......

Hi Everyone in Journey Land! Just bought a used 09' SXT and have a bit of an exhaust issue. First off, does the Journey SXT come with a smaller in-line muffler closer to the engine and then 2 larger mufflers/resonators that exit out the back? I ask because mine has been modified by the previous owner with a 4" Magnaflow muffler in the middle of the exhaust run (I assume where the stock muffler used to be) and nothing out the back besides to different exhaust tips. On initial start up the Journey sounds good, but it stops from there.... I like Magnaflow and have one installed on my 05' Hemi Durango, but I'm not sure about the Journey. Can I just find a couple of after market resonators where the two out the back used to be to quiet down the Magnaflow? Any suggestions are welcome...
