Do you have an RB5 system or the older system? I was able to buy a uconnect navigation map update pack though chryslergroup.navigation.com for like $107.00 shipped. Its for 13-20 RB5 units

I just did this upgrade myself. I went the junkyard route, it can save you money but it also can be a nightmare. If your going the junkyard route, like I did I would do like lacrosse said get the VIN and check it to see if it is even a RB5 radio. I know there's been people who've gotten what they though was an RB5 but turned out to be RE2. As for installation if you already have Sirius XM your good to good because that's how the GPS signals go though, if not make sure you get the antenna. I was able to purchase a unlock code for my radio off a popular auction site, if you get my drift. I was also able to get the Sirius Travel and Traffic link to work thanks to infotainment. They offer a OBD genie that will program you car to show that your car is programmed to have it.I would recommend, if your going the junkyard route going to a reputable junkyard.

After installing CTP13 it had no audio so I contacted infotainment and advised them I reinstalled CTP17 in which it came up as audio Deutsch this time instead of Spanish. So after a out 10 mins of messing around with setting I was able to finally get it to English unbeknownst to me how but I did.

Thank you I was able to obtain a 2013 Dodge Journey RB5 today for $275 from a local part place, Works great and was fairly easy to install, only thing thats not appearing is the more button and travel link but I havent updated the unit yet to the newest software yet. Will be doing that this thursday or friday

Is there a certain year to get for the RB5 module? I'm wanting this for my 2018 journey

Hi everybody! New to the forum just got my 18 Journey GT 2 days ago and love it, I'm looking at putting navigation into my journey which has the 8.4 touch screen, Uconnect 3 and backup camera so pretty much everything except the actually navigation unit. I know i will be needing the RB5 module but I didn't know if there are certain years that will only work with my journey. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated
