  1. 2010 dodge journey R/T 158378 3.6L with power issues. I’ve changed the battery, the alternator 5 times last years, ignition coil for cylinder 4, spark plugs, pulled the fuse for the Bluetooth (thinking I found the problem to the battery drain), p0562 code, grounds are connected, needing 2 jumper boxes to start battery, no ticking sound but very hesitant on wanting to start this morning (as well as yesterday morning). Please help! Oh and video for what’s going on… im trying to add a video but the file is too big so there goes my proof to actually show what’s going on 😡😡😡😡 Do anyone also know if the alternator is working properly by giving the battery a charge to stay running but when I turn the truck off, it will not power back on.
  2. That’s the thing, it’s no code… I even took it to the emissions testing site yesterday and passed with the loud sound. The guy took off my gas cap and hooked up the detector. Also hooked up to my OBD connector and it passed. Even though I scanned it on my own before, I was sure he was going to find something but he didn’t… I was thinking it could be the EGR but no code. So I’m puzzled 🤔!
  3. I have a 2010 Journey 3.5 R/T with 155777 miles on the dash. After replacing the upper manifold with a used one from the junk yard (which is going on 3 wks now). It’s not sounding the same it did when I had the original manifold installed with the engine codes p0660 & p01005. I sounds like it needs a new muffler because you can hear me passing by. Remember, no codes on dashboard. Now the code p0401 did pop up but went away. I know the erg valve can make it run rough but with no codes, it seems odd. You would think it will throw an exhaust code or something… It feels like it’s pulling hard when I give it gas while driving. Anyone can tell me what it could be…?
  4. Wow!!! You said a lot… if possible, try to tackle one problem at a time to narrow down your issues. Ok, what I have dealt with my journey 2010 R/T is somewhat of a similar issue your dealing with… Your transmission may either be low on fluid or is dirty. Either way, it needs to be serviced. That’s the reason why your vehicle is shutting off while in reverse because it’s protecting your trans from creating further damages. As far as the key fob goes, check out a YouTube video on how to replace the battery. I hope this lil bit helps!
  5. I went back to retrace my steps and found the reason for the brake light on. The E-brake was applied which I thought it was released. After I fully released the brake, the light went off of course. Thanks guys for replying, I really appreciate it!!!
  6. Thanks!!! I will do that an give the results after I perform the task
  7. Here’s my dilemma… I’ve installed a new brake power booster on my 2010 3.5l journey. Now I have brakes but the brake light is on while idling and flashing when I drive and I thought it supposed to be to erase itself after the install. I haven’t erase the code after the install which I can go do… I do not have fluid lost which and the brake pedal feels spongy (not tight) but I still have brakes. Which is odd!!! I was wondering if I missed a step during the installation. I didn’t remove the master cylinder because I bypassed the lines. Any help will be appreciated… oh there of course I’ve done it myself and it has over 150k miles
  8. Thanks bro! Google sure did help me. It led me to YouTube and wah-lah magic lol.
  9. Anyone know how to install a turn signal switch? It’s for a 2010 journey and I’m sure it’s easy but I’m having a hell of time getting the bottom steering cover off. Any help would be appreciated!!!!
