  1. It certainly is not a Dodge dealer, it’s a used car dealership. That’s why I am not trusting that they can solve the issue. Thanks for everyone’s input!
  2. Right, the car came back with no diagnosis. No errors recorded in the car computer. I spoke to the mechanic and we went through a few possibilities, but it’s unclear what it might be caused by. It certainly looks like diesel was bot reaching the injectors anymore, and then it came through again. Having half a tank a sloshing dragging dirt from the bottom of the tank into the fuel pump is unlikely. And the fuel filter won’t get completed clogged and then just work again. So we are left wondering. I’m thinking of giving it back to the dealership
  3. Thanks everyone. It is back at the dealership and will be looked at in two days...? I will report back!
  4. I will report back. But I would really appreciate any input from previous experience!
  5. Hello everyone, I am a brand new Dodge Journey owner and I had the car for just 9 days now. Last night I was looking for a parking space, and all of a sudden the car just sputtered and died. The battery is ok and allowed me to try several times to restart the car, but it just wouldn’t ignite. After a few minutes it was giving signals of a little diesel reaching the engine again, just a few coughs. It took more than 10 minutes to start again, and it definitely sounded like there was no diesel reaching the engine. Now, no leaks at all, half tank of diesel, no lights on the dashboard. I diagnosed the car today with the FIXD device and all seems ok. Any ideas on what causes it on how this can be resolved? Should I get straight back to the dealership to get it fixed? Is it actually fixable? Thanks!
