Thanks for the replies guys. I`ve been slow getting back to this job. Same as you Waxer52 I saw the support was available on Amazon and thought I`d save a few bucks if I could change it. I have the driveshaft on my work bench and was going to attempt to split it this week. How did you split it? I was figuring the constant velocity joint would separate.

My AWD Driveshaft support bearing needs replacement. Can anyone tell me how to split the driveshaft so I can replace it? Thanks.

Thanks guys. Got it, didn`t realize one of the air conditioner compressor bolts fastened to the side cover. Front head is off!

Hello all. I`m a new Journey owner. Bought a mint 2010 R/t, 3.5 liter with a blown head gasket. I`m into the tear down, and cant seem to get the engine side cover off to get clear of the camshafts. It`s loose but fighting me, do I need to remove the bottom section of the cover to get the top off? Would love any suggestions I can get. Help, lol.
