  1. I missed whatever it was again, sadly. Help me out with a keyword search?
  2. Thank you, Dean! That listing has ended; can you help me find a fresher one? Or tell me what the item was? Though as soon as I have this driveshaft reinstalled properly, and the brakes functional, I will be selling this vehicle. I haven't a need for a 7 passenger AWD vehicle.
  3. Thank you 5rebel9 and John/Horace! I am very experienced with hydraulic brake maintenance and repairs, but a 2009 is the newest vehicle I have worked on, and the owner's manuals and online talk about requiring a specialized computer interface intimidated me. It sounds like all that talk is total BS, and the 2009 doesn't require such kit? I bought 2 rebuilt rear calipers from my local Advance Auto Parts; I'll hopefully get them on shortly here, and then complete a gravity bleed process. Thank you again!
  4. Did you discover an installation procedure for your repaired driveshaft? I'm still trying to discover the torque specs, as well as the center bearing preload procedure, assuming there is one. I found a great used low mileage driveshaft at a local auto wrecker yard for $100; it looks brand new! I found it via one of those online wrecker database searching websites, and then phoning the yard. I will buy a repair guide, or online access to one, if I can find any guarantee that this data I'm after actually will be within the guide. Please help if possible!
  5. Does anyone know the installation specs? Torques for fasteners, center bearing preload procedure, etc? Or which of the online repair guides is going to actually have this information? Thanks.
  6. This is America I'm stuck in. Predation rules the day here. I'm sure a dealer could, but why would they?
  7. What an absolute nightmare! I have been suffering with the same issue for the last 4 months. I detest this vehicle, and the abhorrent business which birthed it. I am going to attempt to set up a camera to sequentially evaluate potential movement at each wheel. My vehicle is elevated with all 4 wheels off. New master cylinder and reservoir installed. At this point, 2 quarts of clean new fluid flushed through to each wheel cylinder sequentially. No leaks. Nobody has a manual for the 2009 SXT. I can't even discover how to properly bleed the cooling system!
  8. Chapter 17 in the content for the 2009 seems completely erroneous. The images do not match with the text. This means there's no information here about the drivetrain, so replacing the AWD 3.5L drive shaft to the rear of the vehicle is not described. There is no way to discover what the torque settings are for the 3 different locations of bolts; at the engine, for the hanger in the middle(which is the spot with the failure), and at the rear differential. Surely I'm not the 1st person to need to complete this repair. Does anybody know what the proper torque settings are for this part? I was thankfully able to source a great used one from a junkyard for about a tenth of the cost of a new unit!
