Car is finally finished and running great $880 for install and $450 for trasns

It hasn’t been installed yet it’s still in route. And yes they said they will install new filter and fluid with install. And thank you for your help I’ll do a fluid and filter change at 1000 miles.

I ended up buying a used transmission with a B grading for $450 and local installer for $750. So $1100 overall ??‍♂️

Thank you for the info. I will try the filter and fluid first and if that doesn’t fix it I guess I could try solenoid. Is it 5 qts with a pan drop?

Thanks for the reply!! Mileage is around 120k. And I’ll search for solenoid posts. And if I’m going to change filter and fluid shouldn’t I replace the solenoid while the pan is off.

I have a 2015 Dodge Journey 2.4 and can’t really drive it right now cause it won’t go into 3rd gear so you have to drive it real slow. It’s pulling code po733 3rd gear incorrect gear ratio. From what I’ve looked up it said to top off fluid or change fluid if that doesn’t fix it replace shift Solenoid or transmission control module. I’ve topped of the fluid it was low and that did nothing. Where is the shift solenoid located and do you know what transmission comes with the 2.4 motor. I’d like to at least try the shift solenoid next. Or do you think it could be something else.
