  1. Thanks again! You guys have been most helpful to a new guy here
  2. Definitley! If Im going to get that far into the tranny, it would be foolish not to drop the pan and replace the filter as well
  3. Ive had my boy trying this the past few days, and sure enough, it doesnt stall when he pops it into neutral to stop. Looks like Ill be looking into changing the solenoid as well. Thanks for the help, and to everyone who replied, its much appreciated
  4. Thanks to you all for your replies! There is some very good information here, and I definitely know where to start. Cheers everyone!!
  5. 5rebel9, thanks for your reply! No recent plug service, but I kind of ruled that out since it runs well otherwise, not rough or bumpy like the plugs are fouled. But then again, Im unfamiliar with these engines, could it simply be plugs are worn? Also, can these trannies be serviced at home, or are they sealed and need to go in to the dealer?
  6. Im starting this topic for my sons 2013 Journey, 3.6ltr., just under 160,000 km. The vehicle has a problem with stalling when coming to a stop at a red light or a stop sign. It is intermittent, but usually happens more often when cold. Other than that, it runs just fine. And it is showing no codes at all. Im thinking along the lines of coil packs, or perhaps crank position sensors, but the lack of an engine code is confusing me. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance for any help.
