Thank you 2late4u? I have removed all the seats and carpets and found that the left, rear passenger side also is soaked with diesel? The right hand side is dry and fine, i did search for fuellines inside the car but did not find any. I noticed a small leak under the car, i will raise the car and check it more thorougly later today but i dont believe that it would cause a diesel leak into the car. I start to suspect that a previous owner at some point may have spilled fuel inside, thats the only explanation i can think of. Anyway, i will clean everything really good and put the seats back and drive it without the carpet, if it still has diesel coming into the car i should notice it. If everything is fine, i need to find a carpet, preferably a used one... About the fuelmileage, i really dont know as its my daugters car and i havent been driving it much. Thanks Jannelu

Hi everyone. My daugter have a 2015 Fiat Freemont (Dodge Journey) and its been a problem with diesel leaking from underneath of the car. I picked it up today and drove it into my garage in order to check it out. I noticed a odour of diesel and i discovered that its been leaking fuel into the coupe, under the carpet on the driverside. The carpet is soaked with diesel Anyone got a clue where it may come from? I cant see any fuel lines on the floor, they should be routed underneath the car i suppose. Any ideas?
