I too have the same clunk in stop and go driving, usually. Applied LubeGard Platinum, over the course of a few thousand miles issue is more muted and not as sharp nor is it as frequent. Still going to keep driving and ignoring until the end. At this point I feel it is what it is, but I don't believe it's going to kill my tranny. I'm still hoping and praying you'll find the solution, just don't forget us. Please post when you do!

I just bought a used Journey w/3.6, but was looking at the owner manual last night. It was stating that the 2.4L on hot days could show a HOTOIL message and limit speeds to 48 MPH. Has anybody actually had this happen?
