First thing on a Journey. A known good and tested battery. When replacing the gas pedal, did you use the scan tool? There is a apps relearn function required.
-
Would you list the specific codes it's giving now?

What is this hose, why is it disconnected and leaking
Dean H replied to jaymclure's topic in Engine & Transmission
For reference on the a\c drain hose. You can easily access it inside. Located next to the gas pedal. You remove a small plastic panel. It has one trim push pin that goes up into the dash. -
In a emergency situation, when you need to put the automatic transmission in neutral. 1) open the console armrest. Inside by the usb- aux port. There is a square tab, that pops out. Mine is silver in the picture. Hard to see black. 2) using a flat screwdriver, push in through slot. See picture 2. Until you contact the pink lever. You will pry up on it. Hold it up and the shifter can be moved.

2 shops have no clue - NO SPEEDOMETER - 2010 Journey
Dean H replied to Patoriku's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
First thing. You need to find a shop or someone with a scan tool. That has the capabilities to read modules and can activate and test individual components. Simple code readers are basically a digital reference. Dean- 5 replies

With scan tools. They start at basic code readers. Go up to bi-directional controls. Where you can actuate components with it. Relearn procedures etc. You need a shop with good scan tool capabilities. Ask them up front. That can check and test abs wheel sensors. ABS module testing as well. They can solve this the quickest.

Here you go - U1110 Lost vehicle speed message. U1120 lost wheel distance message U1412 implausible vehicle speed signal U11bc lost brake switch message U0416 implausible data received from ESP. Electronic stability program. These are all signals that come from the ABS (anti-lock brake module) to the PCM. They are missing. You need to check out the wiring to the abs module. Wheel sensors too. After that, I would replace the ABS module. On the journey the ABS and the hydraulic control unit are combined. Called the integrated control unit. ICU. Someone with a capable scan tool. Has to initialize and bleed the ABS. After you replace it.
