Hot air blowing on one side when air conditioning is on

I have a 2016 journey that has this problem. I didn't have an issue last year but all of a sudden when I turned on my AC yesterday, hot air was blowing from the passenger side and cold air on the drivers side. I'm not sure if my Warranty covers this issue.?
