Hello, I have a 2015 Journey 2.4. The hose broke and the engine overheated. Before replacing the engine, the accelerator pedal sensor error P2127 was detected. We replaced the engine with a 2020 one, but the accelerator pedal sensor error persisted. Various tests were conducted, but the error remained. We decided to replace the accelerator pedal sensor, trying two different ones, but the problem persisted. We then decided to change the Powertrain Control Module and reflash it. Additionally, we installed another accelerator pedal sensor, and it started working. However, after 10 miles, the same error appeared again. The car behaves inconsistently, sometimes surging forward and backward with gentle pressure on the gas pedal. I noticed that occasionally, a red lightning bolt appears while driving. The car's wiring was checked for damage using a tester, but no breaks were found. The voltage at the accelerator pedal sensor constantly fluctuates, even when the engine is off. I understand that the problem lies in the lack of constant voltage at the accelerator pedal sensor, and when the red lightning bolt appears, it triggers the engine error. What needs to be checked to resolve this situation?
