It is 2014 dodge journey SE. basic model. No I have not brought it in to a certified mechanic. I put the code reader on it and I got misfire codes and emissions codes. So I changed the spark plugs, and the O2 sensors. Still having issues. In fact today it wouldn't start at 10 a.m. until 2:30 pm. And it fired right up , like a champ. Like nothing was even wrong. I don't get it. Could it be a grounding issue? I'm going to check the battery connections, see if everything is clean and tight. Any recommendations?

My journey starts and runs great, when it wants to. Well be going down the road and out of nowhere, it will die. Sometimes it'll start right back up, others longer. Got stuck in a parking lot for 2 hours. When it dies, the brake pedal gets hard to push. Then I do a reset by pressing the button 5 times let the. Meters go up n down. Then hold brake, and start. That works sometimes, mainly just waiting for a bit will work. Seems to be no matter what I replace, problems still exist. Every day. Oh and sometimes when it starts back up, it will be in limp mode. Turn it off and on, it could start right back up into normal mode or go into limp mode again. Can you please please help me with this headache?
