I have a manual mirror. I figured it was standard on the sxt? I'm almost wondering if I should just order an aftermarket android radio for the third tim and try again.

Not sure if this has been asked before. I can't find anything on it anywhere. I have a 2017 jounrey sxt. Currently debating on upgrading the radio to the 8.4 with nav and sat. Realized I might as well upgrade the mirror as that's where the mic is. I can't find anything on if I neeed additional wire or sensors. Not even a single youtube video lol. Anyone done this before?

You need the radio from the other unit.
