  1. thank you to everyone who has helped me on this. i will keep you posted on what i find.
  2. ok if i can figure out hoy to get the pcm unplugged. i will get it some how and i will let you know what i find
  3. well old engine is gone but i puller all the sensors off of it but i have to find them. i have good ground to cps. i even added a ground or two. i need to get the pcm unplugged and check that pin
  4. i didn't spend much time on it btoday. i tested the three prong cps plug and im getting 5 on both sides and the ground wire is the middle. no salt here in Missouri.unless it snows lol..i bought a new battery sensor and cleared all the codes. i just need to get it running so i can do a relearn on the cam and crank sensorsi added a ground wire from the passenger side all the way to the battery. checked all the grounds and i even cut a piece of aluminum for the grounds on driver side like the pictures showed. still same thing. . so i need to unplug the pcm and check pins 86 ? them plugs are pretty tough to get off there aren't they?
  5. also im not to sure what you want me to do with pin 86 and that chart. if i understood that maybe i could find the problem
  6. i want to thank everyone for their advise and when i get home this evening i will do a scan and see if i can figure out how to put a video of it on here. my scanner can do the relearn and also can program pcm etc.. i will try to put a video of what the scanner is telling me but i cant do a relearn on anything until i get it started. i do thank each and everyone of you guys for helping me. yes both motors were running when i did the swap. there is something i am missing and i think it goes back to the cps. motors didn't sit probably a couple months. starting it did have a slow rank but i fixed that. its still throwing the battery sensor code even after i cleared it. i like dodge products espeally the Cummins . i have 3 of them. maybe i will put a cummings motor in this journey and that will fix it
  7. yes donor car was 2010 avenger. he didn't get the wiring harness so im using the journeys. i tried to do a relearn on the cps and crank sensor and scanner needs motor running to do this procedure. im about to give up. i have done everything you guys said and even the basics . i have a high end scanner. its a ancel ds600. how can i get this piece of junk started?
  8. yes they just parted out the whole car. he didend get the ecm from it. all he got was just the motor. i know it doesn't matter but the two motors look exactly the same. yes the cps i got from auto zone and not OEM. i will do a relearn on it and see what happens. thank you guys very much. i will keep you posted
  9. here are all the codes its throwing now. po113,po335,b2193-00,uo100-00,b1c19,b1c13,b1408-13,b210a-16,b210d-16.
  10. i need to recheck the codes and i will let you all know what they are
  11. im sorry i dont really know much about computers but i have a 2014 journey that my daughter and her husband didn't check oil in and it locked up. he found a 2010 avenger that they lost the keys and was just parting out so i put that motor in the 14 journey. both are 2.4 and it did have the anti theft but i reprogrammed it in. . i cant get the motor tohit a lick.. i changed crank sensor and 1 cam sensor and still nothing. im stumped
  12. when i got it i asked what happend toit and all they said was they lost the key and nothing else would work so they just part it out
  13. no old engine locked up from my daughter and her husband not checking the oil. i could kick their butts
  14. its a 2.4. on the cam sensors on top of the motor one of them only has one wire going to it but the other one has 2. should there be 2 wires going in that back sensor? i changed the crank sensor on the back of the motor on the bottom but im talking about the cam sensor on top of the motor. the battery sensor was broke and throwing a code for that. autozone wanted 214 dollars for one. what the heck does it have gold in it? i bought one from amazon for 30. i checked the voltage on all the sensors and getting 5 volts. and 12 when i crank it over now. before i wasent getting 12 just 5. checked the volts in the plugs and i get 70 just sitting there but when i crank it i will get 12 and 13 just for a second when i crank it but it goes away pretty quick.i checked all fuses under hood and they all are good. i also took plugs out and poured a little gas down them and tried starting it and it wouldn't even fart. im about to roll it out and catch it fire and maybe even blow it up. so where ever you guys live listen for a loud boom. thanks for your help and if you have anymore suggestions please let me know. p.s. i have a ancel DS600 programmable scanner i paid a lot for it. it will code pcm swap also and key fobs . thanks again for your advise
  15. will a bad battery sensor give me a no spark?
  16. thats what i thought it should fart or something. im putting new sensors in it now and we will see what happens. hopefully will work. thank you all for your help. i will keep you posted
  17. it came out a avenger 2010
  18. fuel rail is full and has pressure on it. when i first tried starting it i hada slow crank. i put a new starter on it and that helped it a lot. codes its bringing up now is p0335-p000a-p0123-p0222-p0108-p0013
  19. would it be better to put gas down the plugs or is either ok in the carb? code that came up was throttle not set but i got that set ok. its a 2.4. would the cam sensor keep it from firing?
