My superhero name is Overkill, because I overdo everything. LOL!
So I just bought this 2013 R/T with 300,000 km, and I'm already enjoying it. My wife and I love the sunroof. And I guess the Crossroads is the top trim level, but I can't imagine what it has the mine doesn't have. It seems to have everything.
I need to get tires on it this week, and fix some rust, and change a fender, but otherwise I love it.
So one other major problem is that the nav and bluetooth don't work. I need to change something in the dash.
The seller told me it's not the screen, but something lower, behind the controls. I do pre-shipping repair in a plant, so I shouldn't have a hard time with this. I've removed and replaced more Chrysler radios and dash skins than I can count.
I just need to know what part to buy, and I hope I don't have to spend too much.
One thing I really like about this Journey is the SD card slot. The van I'm replacing with the Journey had the radio I uploaded music to, but I could never delete songs I didn't want. The only option was to format the drive, which I never did, because I wasn't prepared to upload again. Putting a playlist together is a lot of work. I'm doing it now for the Journey, and it's going to take me a while to get everything together.
I've checked the Mopar site looking for the right part, but I'm not sure what I need. It might just be the antenna, which isn't too steep, and the screen apparently isn't the problem, so I think it's the control unit.
Any help would be appreciated.
