No, the bags did not fire. It just broke the clock spring because the wheel was turned too many times.

Unbeknownst to me, my steering linkage was disconnected during a routine repair on the drivetrain. Long story short, I spun the wheel and there went the clock spring. The clockspring is expensive. Are there any other crosses for it? I have access to a lot of use vehicles for parts and was wondering if any other vehicle that would interchange or a less expensive fix?
