Hi y'all. just want to add to the conversation. I too have a 2014 dodge journey with the same no start problem . I changed the starter thinking it was the obvious problem. Two months later it happened again. Thankyou all for this blog it helped a lot with the thought prosses. After going through relays and such I decided It was again a starter problem. When I replaced it I found the real problem. The spade connection on the starter. when pushed in it seems solid but when you pull it back to where it locks in it is loose. I removed the plastic cover squeezed the connector down and replaced it . Fixed...why did they stop using a stud and nut? Never the less problem solved.
