  1. I'm from just south of you in Regina and was just up in Saskatoon last weekend. Here is a photo of my car, granted it is only a 2010 but gives you an idea of the accessories I have installed, Chrome Step Bars, Chrome Mirror Caps, Chrome R/T Emblems, Chrome Gas Cap, Chrome Sills, Front Air Deflector & Sunroof Air deflector c/w "chrome edging", "Chrome" Buick Portholes, Chrome Clad 19" Wheels. Terry
  2. I really feel for you Moparman and others who are waiting, I got my hitch for my 2010 right away which was great. I have trailered my boat numerous times and recently I got a trailer for my Kayaks and now haul my 2 17' touring kayaks and it seems to work well. Terry
  3. Do you know if this is applicable to 2010? Just curious....... Terry
  4. Personally I have changed the batteries in both my key fobs. I too have a 2010 Dodge Journey. If you really want to be careful. remove the "valet" key first. You actually don't have to pry too hard to separate the halves and then just replace the battery. Just a note of caution, make sure the battery is installed correct side up, I made the mistake of installing it upside down (not comparing it to the other one) and for a day or two could not figure out why it never worked. BTW batteries are considered a consumable product and no subject to a warranty. Terry
  5. I initially was a little hesitant on white but after nearly 2 years of ownership I am glad I did. In the past I have always had a coloured vehicle usually red but I am now very happy with my white car. IMO it looks good, does not show the dirt nearly as much as I thought, even then it seems to look cleaner. The only SMALL complaint I seem to have is that it is a weeeee bit harder to wax as the wax also dries white and is harder to see what you have already done. Terry
  6. Ditto.......As drb227 mentioned, Welcome, with both you and Chris here I would imagine most of our questions and concerns will be answered. Terry
  7. FWIW I was told by a Navteq rep who I felt was being very honest with me at the time, that really all that was needed was an update every other time. Terry
  8. .......I think hell just froze over.....LOL. For the first time in 72 fillups my EVIC finally agreed with "My Fuelly", (13.8) it is usually it is about .7 l/100 kms low which is fine because I know "My Fuelly" is the "real world". I realize that it isn't too big a deal to most of you, just thought I would let you all know, Terry
  9. Please let us know if you find anything...... I too love Golden Retrievers, I had two but I had to put them down due to age. Here is a photo of them. If you want to see more go to http://www.pbase.com/windancer/dogs
  10. I will admit the Kumho tires initially scared me a bit, but as someone pointed out it wasn't the Kumho tires that were the problem, it was Chrysler's odd choice of tire sizes. The mileage from these tires from these tires may be a little poor but in all honesty they are not nearly as bad as people make them out to be. These tires along with others are quite soft which improves the ride but shortens the tire life. Personally I really don't think $206/tire is all that bad. Granted when it comes time to replace them, I'm sure the selection will be much larger. I wiil probably replace them with Toyo's, Michelins, BF Goodrich or Goodyears etc. Terry
  11. akuehl This is true, as AstralRT pointed out Dodge has given their blessing to this change. Terry
  12. I have done that too many times to count. Terry
  13. Trust me on my 2010 they do something.........LOL terry
  14. I am also Canadian, I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, you know the province hard to spell but very easy to draw. :tease: Terry
  15. Congrats.......I have the chrome door handles, R/T emblems on each fender and many other options. Terry
  16. As others have pointed out, the Journey isn't a Ferrari but I really don't think people expect it to be, or at least they shouldn't. In my case I went from a Dodge Caravan and a convertible to my R/T. I needed a car to carry all my sports gear, 4 boards and sails and booms for windsurfing to my 2 17' touring kayaks. IMO the Journey does this very well and I am very happy with it. Terry
  17. With all due respect and I don't mean to be critical, she must be very tolerant of you, :tease: because as drb227 posted, your post was very hard to understand. Just my thoughts..... terry
  18. i also have a 2010 Journey R/T and as Carlcas mentioned the "flip up" seat does not lock so I would tend to agree you probably have just jammed it with something. I really have no good solution to this other than carefully trying to open it up again. You may damage whatever is keeping it closed though. Terry
  19. I picked up one yesterday at Canadian Tire and will install it later today when it cools off a little. I will take some photos and report on it when I do it. I looked at it and it seems to fit fine. Terry
  20. Never tried the stuff, but have heard it works well, how were you thinking of using it? Terry
  21. I know I am very happy with mine. Terry
