  1. As everybody else says I like the red stripes, but as has been pointed out, Are thety really there? They don't seem to be appearing on any of the 2012's. Hope yopu enjoy you 2012 DJ.
  2. I have a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T, it has every option that was available on it. The EVIC on my car is usually low, somewhere around 1 litre/100 kms lower from the actual gas mileage. As you can see by my signature I have kept track of my fuel mileage since day one of my car. My average over 50 fillups and 17,000 kms. is 15.7 l/100 kms. which too me is a little too high, although my number reflects cold weather iding etc.. To answer your question I personally think 20 l/100kms. is way too high especially on the highway, I would make sure of the actual mileage and then tell your dealer. Personally, I have got a best of 9.3l/100kms on the highway from my car and it seems to be 11.5 l/100kms is about average on the highway. My personal city mileage goes up quite drastically. If you want to look at my stats just click on the logo below. I let My Fuelly figure everything out, it's free and is available at www.fuelly.com, just my thoughts though....... Terry
  3. I live in a province that doesn't require front plates, I have my bracket at home, will check tonight when I get home. I would definately sell it seeing as I have no use for it. Terry

  5. I have one, got it from the dealer, they did the unstall took about 15 mins., gave me the old cover and looking at the old cover it was a very simple install. Here is what it looks like on a white car. Haven't seen another Journey in Regina with one... I too added it plus the chrome mirror covers, some R/T badges on the fenders as well as some 'Buick" Portholes to make it my own. Sets it apart from the pack... http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?/gallery/image/279-dscn0070.jpg Terry
  6. I agree this is not normal. There is something definately wrong, the car should get much better mileage than that. As I have said numerous times, gas mileage is not a strong point of this car but that is not good. You can see by my sig that I use My Fuelly and I have kept track of my mileage since day one. It includes warm up time and idling and it is at 15.6 which is too high IMO but that is the plain truth and I have to live with it. Let us know if you find anything out. As you can see mine is a Fully Loaded up 2010 Journey R/T AWD and has 16,000 kilometers or 10,000 miles on it.. Terry
  7. That's a great suggestion, or bread etc. If you have a forced air furnace you could leave the Fob on a register for a few days, worked on a cell phone that was accidentally dropped into a sink full of water. Terry
  8. Haven't paid for an oil change since 1990, I'm on my 6th vehicle from them. My dealership gives me free oil changes every 5000 kms. or 3 months which ever comes first. terry
  9. If you don't mind me asking (feel free not to tell me) where abouts are you located? I am in Regina. I have a 2010 R/T, you can see it here: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?/gallery/member/2388-windancer/ Terry
  10. Just wanted to say that the first 4500 kms. on my vehicle were on a Kayaking trip on Vancouver Island in September 2010. I filled the car up 12 times an averaged 11.7 according to My Fuelly. It was very comfortable and a pleasure to drive, My R/T has every available option on it and I must admit the Sirius sattelite radio was a welcome addition going through the mountains. 11. Welcome aboard, I also have a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T that has 16,000 kms. (10,000 miles) on it and I have not experienced the problems you describe. At the risk of sounding condescending talk to you dealer ASAP. Terry
  12. I'm not sure which radio I have, will look on the way home. I just checked it is a REU Media Center 830N Terry
  13. My 2010 R/T AWD came with them, it was part of a package, I remember looking it up on my window sticker. Terry
  14. Welcome from another Canuck in Regina. Terry
  15. I too have the same problem on my 2010, like you I thought it was due to my trailer hitch installation. I have pointed it out to my dealer and he told me that nothing could really be done. I may do something similiar Armendegga's fix except I may use a small dolip of more flexible white silicone caulking. Terry

  17. No You are not alone I tend to like '10 over the '11. Just me though. Terry
  18. Sorry to hear of your problems Geer, as you probably know I have a 2010 AWD R/T and so far have not heard the noise. At the risk of stating the obvious I suggest having your dealer look at it and report back to us if they find anything. did you ever find out the problem? Terry
  19. My garmin unit allows you to record your own voice and use them if you are so inclined. Terry
  20. Hello Glad to have you aboard, I have a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T AWD. Terry http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?/gallery/member/2388-windancer/
