K & N now makes an oil filter for the 2011 3.6 Journey . Couldn't find one locally but was able to order one from Summitt Racing. K&N part # PS-7025

I do all the oil changes on my 2011 Mainstreet . So easy it is funny . Don't even have to jack the car up . Hardest part is removing the oil pan drain plug. Re-fill Mobil 1 and never get a drop on the garage floor .

How hard is it to remove the grill for painting ??

How is the transmission shift knob attached ......is it screwded on , pressed on , or is the there a set screw I can not see. I want to replace the stock knob with maybe a solid chrome ball or even a cue ball. But I do not want to damage the old knob taking it off.

I check my drain holes at least once a month, and drilled two extra holes to help make sure all the water is drained out.

when you replace the springs with H&R units ; what else has to be changed ;if anything . Will the stock shocks still work ?

Just removed the headrests on my 2011 Mainstreet , very easy to do , and I like it a lot better and the view out the rear window greatly improved.

I just replaced the brakes on my 2011 Mainstreet @ 25000, miles . Replaced all rotors with CENTRIC products , and the pads with POSI-QUIET Ceramic Pads. Best move I ever made . Super clean with no dust problem. The brakes work great now , awesome stopping power . The brakes that came with the car were just not beefy enough for the weight of the car and subject to warping . Just bite the bullet and replace the rotors and pads with good quality after market products and you won't be sorry.

I love these CENTRICS pads , I normally use HAWK pads on my other cars but HAWK doesn't have a fit for the Journey. These pads with NON SLOTED and NOT DRILLED solid rotors gives the best feel I have ever had .....and I am running 20" tires/wheels.

HYPERTECH has a new product called the Interceptor for the 3.6 l flex engine , waiting to hear some reviews of this product.

I had a bad shrudder on my 2011 Mainstreet. At 25000 I replaced everything , rotors are now CENTRIC and pads are now POSI-QUIET ceramic. No more shrudder and these brakes are awesome. I have 20" chrome wheeels with almost NO dust . And the braking is nice and smooth.

I think everyone knows by now that the 20" Jeep SRT8 wheels are a perfect fit for the Journey . If you don't believe me ...I think my pictures of my Black Mainstreet are posted a couple places on here.
