  1. Welcome to the club and enjoy your stay :elefant:
  2. Here are some I found available for the Journey. I have always used the regular carpet ones. The Hexomat ones sound nice from the reviews, except fot the part were they stink for about 1-2 weeks. The WeatherTech ones look really nice. Saw some of them one time in a friends truck. http://www.autoanything.com/floor-mats/20A10011A1.aspx
  3. Today the dealer replaced the whole sunroof assembley and put in a new headliner. Now it is worse than before. Ran the car through the car wash and at one time I saw a spray of water come through as well as the constant drip of water coming through. As soon as I went to turn the overhead console was filled with water and spilled all over the seat and electronics. The headliner is already soaked. I took it back immediately to the dealer. The service tech looked at it and was just as upset as me. About the only thing he could figure out is the hole cut out for the sunroof is too big for the sunroof. He will making some calls tomorrow to Dodge and let me know by tommorow. At this point it is not looking good for my Journey. Based off of Wyoming lemon laws my car qualifies for it. More will be revealed tomorow. The saga continues.
  4. I have the same symptoms with mine. We don't use it too much so I have not even asked the dealer about it.
  5. I have always heard that too. Once you go sythetic you can't go back to dino. Recently I have heard that now you can switch back if you want too.
  6. Welcome to the Club and enjoy your stay :beerchug: :elefant:
  7. Right now I am trying to get my sunroof to stop leaking. It is going in on Monday. So hopefully it will be good as new. I think Dodge has seen enough sunfoofs leak that they know how to fix them now on the Journey. It has been a good car to us so far and fits the bill nicely for our needs.
  8. Parts came in today. Car will go in on Monday.
  9. I can't see it either. Only the low tire pressure idiot light comes on for me.
  10. Better late than never...........Welcome and enjoy your stay! And as you can tell I am not too close to Ohio :P
  11. So far the only issue I have had with mine is the sunroof leaking. But I only have 3300 miles on her. Hopefully the sunroof will be resolved next week.
  12. I would be interested in a lot of the stuff they have.
  13. Congrats on your purchase. I use Photobucket to upload pics, if that is any help.
  14. I remember reading something about the squeak. I think it had to do with a rubber grommet on the rear shocks. I know somebody posted up with pics about this issue and was able to fix it.
  15. I only had the ram head on mine. That thing was just too big for me, so I took mine off. Your best bet if you want the letters is to find another Dodge model with the right size of lettering you want and order it from your Dodge parts dealer.
  16. Hopefully it is just a loose ground wire and they find it fast. Electrical stuff can be so fustrating sometimes.
  17. I would not think it will void your warranty. Now if you end up drilling too far into the roof and through the headliner that is another story :o In the instructions it shows the drill bits you need with some type of stop on it to prevent this. Below is the link to the factory roof rack. I don't know how to attach the pdf file for the instructions but you can click on the link to see the install directions too. http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-US/822...079&pc=8918
  18. Another thing the police use now is the wedge thing to spread the door just enough and then they place an air bag to spread the door farther to reach the door lock button with a small steel bar. Depending on how tight your door jam is sometimes they can spread it enough using their hands, then place the airbag in. They have done away with the slim jim due to all the electronics in the door panels and such with newer cars.
  19. Go to your dealership to get a facory roof rack or online. Look in the accesories catalog for the Journey. I think it cost a little over $200 for the kit and installation looks like it would be easy for someone with a little bit of mechanic skills. Drill a few holes and bolt it it.

    Ditto! Love the color too!
  22. Welcome to the club and enjoy your stay Good looking ride you got there! I would love to have the diesel option here in the states.
  23. This thread talks about the K&N filter. You could go to any auto parts store and tell them the part number and they can order it for you. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?showtopic=298
  24. Thanks for the pics. The factory hitch looks pretty good. I haven't seen one yet with the hitch. But holy cow that thing sticks out! I wonder if the Curtis hitch sticks out that far too.
