  1. Katz, thanks for the "rubbing in" what all did you get for options? You have the exact colors we have on order,... wait I know where mine is now Holy crapping fish cakes WOW!!!!!!!!!! 23 on the lot? everyones knows I am going to ask this question,..... did any have the Nav? Rob
  2. Rain schmain, put a plastic bag over your head so the camera doesn't get wet and get some pictures for us, sheeeesh. Oh be sure to tie the bag tight so no moisture gets in either LOL!!!! looking forward to seeing the pictures, thank you oh and the above is all in good fun Rob
  3. hey Rick, at least I have 5 more years on ya hmmmm what else in common, how about a son coming up to driving age as well, weird hey? Rob
  4. hey BigCountry, "welcome to our little forum" as a wise man once mentioned great to have you here. Post often as we are a bunch of friendly people here ............ Rob also great to hear you are loving the Journey
  5. Yes, I am with Rick on this one too, can you post some pictures for us? It would be GREATLY appeciated Rob
  6. I do believe the auto manufacturers, request for bids on tires and whoever bids lowest, with quality being in second place, and price being the first. They most likely go with that company. I am not saying quality is not as important as price. Alot of off shore tires are great, tire technology is leaps and bounds ahead of what it was like 10 years ago. Michelin was the rant and rave many moons ago when the other tires were bias ply and it is still that way. It is tough to get a tire that is terrible and when most people complain about "I'll never buy another _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ tire again. 99% of the time it is either misaplication or mechanical issues. You get what you pay for though. Me I swear by Goodyear, got them on all my vehicles. My F150 4X4 with the Wrangler RTS has over 65,000km's on them and there is about 70% of the tire left. Rotated ever 10,000km's and "PROPER" air pressure. I weigh my vehicle and figure out the air pressure. Alot of people see the sidewall marked as max pressure of 41PSI (just an example) and that is what they put in there, 41 PSI. This equals to a tire being way overinflated and premature wear. sorry for going on and on. Been in the business for 11 years running a service truck for a major tire dealer seen alot of "stuff"(not in the business anymore ) Rob PM me if you want more info/my opinion
  7. ours is really good too, actually better than my 2001 F150. I have been driving for 27 years with no fault insurance. Rob
  8. I will be undercoating ours before it leaves the lot as well. Also mud flaps too. I want to get a guy to 3M the front of the Journey too. I've seen the guy install it on a class A motorhome and boy is that stuff thick. Rob
  9. the Chrome Clad 19"Wheels are plastic covers over the aluminum, the wheels are the 19". Basically it is an aluminum wheel with a plastic cover. Give them a tap and you will see. Kinda cheap but they look great anyhow. I didn't want the aluminum wheel cause sometime down the road when some tireguy balances the wheels and puts a wheel weight on the outside of the wheel, there goes the finish. whether the wheel is clear coated or bare aluminum, they have to be well maintained. Just my 2 cents anyhow Rob
  10. OH MAN,...............THAT REALLY SUCKS hey maybe just go ahead and drive it and park it back at the dealership at night Rob
  11. I'll be playing with the journey when it gets here, no doubt about it. If this is the case (light on in footwell all the time) this may be my first mod Rob
  12. our plate came in today, now for the rest of the car Rob
  13. Same thing happened with us Keith. Test drove but had no sunroof. They wanted a deposit in order to get a Journey from another dealer. The other dealer would not let it go. Said to heck with it order what we want. Did a bunch of homework and ordered an optioned out SXT AWD with EVERYTHING it can come with, oh The smoker's group, Ill get a cig lighter at crappy tire Rob
  14. I am wondering if the site is slow for you guys too? it takes FOREVER to load pges and then I get a "fatal error measge" so get back on and then the site wants me to sign in again. I do so and then it takes forever to load again. Sometimes it is lightning quick but lately it is V E R Y S L O W just venting as I had a crap day all around, I need a hug Roxanne Rob
  15. well here is the Flippin update (Edmonton, Alberta , Canada) Found out today new ship date is May 16th,... I wanted to say it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad F@#* ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then I asked, how long then if it is being shipped May 16th he said about 3 weeks that puts me into F@#$IN JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about ready to cancel the whole F#@$%IN DEAL, am I mad,..... you don't know mad Nav System  Rob
  16. maybe a great time to do a mod and add a switch in the dash by the heated front seats switch, or even with the cargo light switch. Rob
  17. 4.50/gallon, try living right on top of it and paying more than that. <--------- not meant to derail the thread, but I just giggled when you had typed the price/gallon Canada has no incentives for the Journey,......... NOTHING!!!!!!! (from what I understand) Rob
  18. congrates on the purchase and welcome to the forum Rob
  19. this is great to hear considering they "media" was bashing the fuel economy. Rob
  20. Hey Great job!!!!!!!!!!!! sure beats the heck out of waiting. Glad they found one for you. Make sure you take some pictures of the stereo install Rob
  21. I am there every morning so I'll know but never thought of checking out back, That will be included now in my daily jaunt, Thanks for the tip. All I know is that it has a "FIRM" ship date, April 23rd been checking for the last 2 weeks everyday. I wonder when they unload off the trucks if they put the special order vehicles in the back? I was there this morning and there was 4 Journeys just unloaded Monday night there was even a lightsandstone one and I was getting excited til I saw the normal wheels on it and no sunroof, Nope, not mine,.....still waiting just like Keith (Kconnors) Rob
  22. congrates on the order hope it comes in soon for you. I ordered the best factory system possible as I don't want to be farting round with changing out a factory deck anymore. All my other vehicles I have added screens and decks/amps/crossovers/subs/speakers, the works, but this one I am just leaving alone. I did a complete sytem in my 2001 Ford 4X4 Ford Diesel Dually with playstation 2, cooling fans, mirrors, amp rack, subs spent 6 months building and then sold the truck  oops kinda got cared away :talkhand: Rob
  23. depends if you are in Canada then you are at the mercy of your dealership for updates, that sucks. If in the States there is a 1 800 number to call and you have to give them the VON (Vehicle order # and VIN # depending on the build status) At the bottom of my signiture is all my details to the date. I think I'll be the first in Western Canada to have the Journey with the Nav System Lord knows I've been waiting long enough. Rob
  24. I love to hear from the guys that are Lovin their ride just adds to my excitement. I ordered EVERYTHING in cluding the Nav but the only thing I did not get was the smokers group. L O A D E D!!!!!!!!!! Ordered March 14th firm ship date April 23rd,..... DUDE WHERE'S MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still waiting Rob
