Thanks, Chris!
I will have this applied at my next service in a week or so. I doubt this will fix my issue of being able to put 5 - 10 more litres of gas in the tank after initial click-off of the gas pump but this is a move in the right direction.
Wow, that's terrible. I am very fortunate to deal with a great dealership and I haven't had any service related problems ever with them. I haven't had nearly as many issues as you but how the service is handled really does make a huge difference. I hope you have better luck with your next dealership as your current one seems pretty incompetent.
Of course. We are destined to never have a fix for this. I am convinced the only way this will be properly fixed is to fix or re-design the fuel filler neck and I just don't see Chrysler being willing to do that for vehicles already built.
Yes, my iPhone 5 works the same as my 4S in my 2011. I am also using the old style cable (with the 30 pin connector on it) and the lightning to 30 pin adapter connected to it.
This and the rough shifting are my only 2 gripes with my Journey. I wish we could here from one of the Chrysler reps if anything is actually being done on the fuel filling issue.
Hmmm. Maybe the 2012's work a bit differently than the 2011's? On my 2011, the heated seat only ever comes on high when I remote start or manually start it.
I have mentioned this before in a few threads - according to the manual, the heated seats will only come on automatically (if that option is turned on), when the outside temp is below 4.4 C.
People can do whatever they want. If they choose to put used tires on their vehicles, that is a risk they are taking. For me personally, it is not something I will ever do. I value my safety and that of my family/passengers too much.
I wouldn't hold my breath about the transmission programming being changed any time soon. It's the same on my 2011. Many manufacturers are going this route now with their transmission programming.
You do realize that the heated driver's seat will only come on with the remote start when the outside temperature is 4.4 Celsius (40 Farenheit) or less? That is in the owner's manual.
What they are saying about the system is absolutely correct. My 8.4N does have "attractive graphics, intuitive layouts and quick responses". Very happy with my 8.4N overall.
I've had one low tire before that had a slow leak. The TPMS warning would not go off until I got that tire up to 36 psi. My suggestion - inflate all tires to 36 psi, which is what they are supposed to be at anyway. That SHOULD clear the TPMS warning.
You're bitching about having to press a little button to lock the car when you leave it? That or the key fob is the only way to do it. Ain't likely to change any time soon.
