  1. Here is the result from my latest appointment about the issue. Tell me if this sounds like a load of BS to get rid of me or not. "Check and report for vibration sound from underneath the vehicle accelerating between 55-70km/h still present - check history***. Tech Cause: went for a lenghty roadtest with the shopforeman. verified concern, heard the exhaust noise when ECO mode engages, especially when slow acceleration. ECO mode is working properly, shutting half of the engine off for better fuel mileage and make a little of noise momentarily. checked dealerconnect, no RRT or starcase found. no codes found either. *** - Tech comments: no fault found." *EDIT* After doing a little google searching on ECO mode, it seems to be a common occurrence over all Dodge vehicles. Some people have reported having their torque converter replaced resolves the issue.
  2. Has anyone with this issue actually gotten it resolved?I have a 2013 Rallye with the issue since KM 1. Numerous visits and updates, exhaust clamp tightening, engine mount tightening, still no difference. I'm up to 12000km now.
  3. Very nice! This is the first pic I've seen of a trailer thats been towed by a Journey. Any issues, recommendations, for limits, etc? I'm planning on getting "hitched" and a camper sometime soon.
  4. Traded in my 2011 Crew for a spiffy 2013 Black Rallye Edition, fully loaded. Love the monotone paint, and the pearl in the black. Dealers are offering really good deals on trade-in's, so I figured now was a good time to upgrade to AWD. The plan is to put on some nice black rims, probably 20's.
  5. I currently have 235/55/19 Michelins on. I would like to upgrade to a new set of rims to go with these tires. I keep getting different numbers for the bolt pattern, depending on which site and calculator I use. Is there anywhere I can get a definitive number on what I should be shopping for? Thanks
  6. It's possible that may be it. I always find such inconsistencies with how the paint colors look from various Dodge sites. Gonna check out some Rally editions tomorrow, maybe I can find a salesman who actually knows a thing or two. Thanks guys.
  7. What color is this? I found this here: http://www.dodgeoffe...ourney/ultimate The color isnt available on Dodge.com or Dodge.ca for any model. The only blue is the Fathom, which looks nothing like this. I have a 2011 DJ Crew, Blackberry Pearl, and want to trade-in for a 2013 Rally, but this is the only color I've seen that I like.
  8. Can someone please tell me what color this is? This image is from this page: http://www.dodgeoffers.ca/special-offers/alberta/en/dodge/Journey/ultimate When building a DJ on the dodge.ca site, this color isnt available. I'm considering upgrading to a 2013 with AWD, but this is the only color that has my interest so far, as it seems pretty close to what I currently have (2011 Blackberry Pearl).
  9. @sunny1292 They dont look wider at all to me. @redtomatoman The speedo difference is so negligible that it was well worth it, for the ease of finding tires, and the price difference. Its less than 1km/h for me.
  10. Just wanted to give a quick thanks to this board for all the help. I recently had to get a new set of tires, to do away with those Kumho's. Based on the advice of several here, I ended up getting a set of Michelin Latitude Tour HP, 235/55/19, from Costco. http://tires2.costco.ca/product.aspx?ItemNo=191182&SearchID=9369f7f8-4890-4e33-be27-dee421b584d7 Cost me around $1160 for the set. They fit perfect and I have not had any issues yet. Much better ride than the Kumho's. They were difficult to find in the city, but one location had a set left because another Journey owner ordered them in, then changed his mind last minute. On a side note, here's what sort of forced me into getting new tires. Picked up this bad-boy in a pothole here in Edmonton: Yes, that IS a brake pad.
  11. I can confirm again that getting the "garbled text on display" fix is the only update available, and it did fix the default setting from mph to kph. As an added bonus, I plugged in my Iphone via USB, and it immediately showed all the ID3 tag information, as well as album art. This didnt work at all before I got the update.
  12. Loving it so far. I'm going from a 4 cylinder Pontiac Sunfire to a V6, so the power is more than sufficient for me. And yes, check engine light is on because it wasnt actually running, but thanks!
  13. So I noticed in the phone area, it shows that there is an option to have your messages read out over uconnect. I cant get this to work with my Iphone 4. When I go to messages, it shows incompatible Bluetooth version. Does anyone have a phone that this works with?
  14. Still have been unable to find any decent online source for uconnect updates for the 2011's. Having the same issues as you, in regards to playback, no information or artwork showing.
  15. I'm hoping there will be updates for the mp3 playback. I would like to be able to browse by artist, album, playlists on the screen, instead of just a long list of all filenames. Also, not sure what is required to get the ID3 tag information to show up, as 99% of my MP3s dont display anything other than filename, even though they are tagged properly and have album art.
  16. For the low navigation voice: When it is speaking, turning the volume up and down will increase/decrease the nav volume, not the music.
  17. I think if you have the temperature set to LOW before you shut the vehicle off, they will not come on automatically when its started back up. EDIT: I was wrong about that. I just got in to mine with the temp at 21 degrees, not low, and the seats didnt come on. I can only assume its based on the outside temperature.
  18. Noone at my dealer knew anything about it or heard of it before. Have to take it in to get it "flashed".
