  1. Hi, I have a 2011 Journey R/T AWD. I just passed the 6000 km mark on the odometer and the EVIC says that I need to perform an oil change??? Is that normal? I thought the oil changes should be done at only 13000km
  2. Have just found out that there is some details on the 2012 Journey... Have not spotted any differences from the 2011 one though... https://www.fleet.chrysler.com/fleetcda/portal?pageid=32e5eec984fc6110VgnVCM100000e9261c35RCRD&sectionid=fb66cce1be7f5110VgnVCM10000091f4e735RCRD&ptitle=Journey.
  3. Here are some pics #1 : Pic of the installed Deflector #2 : Pic of one of the 4 screws that needs drilling into the hood. Actually you need to drill a hole, then put a plastic plug into the hole. That plastic plug will receive the screw. There is also two more screws (visible from the outside of the deflector), those screws are screwed into some kind of brackets that are hold in place without drilling.
  4. Well to bad it is not related to the EVIC problem... but anyways its good news! :D Will have to annoy chrysler mechanic (once again) about the EVIC flash. sighhh.
  5. WOW thanks for that llink! I wasn't even aware that there was a possibility to update UConnect ourselves. Does anybody know if it fixes anything else? Does it fixes the infamous kmh / mph evic problem? Will do the update tomorrow. By the way, I have almoste NEVER seen a website so badly designed. I can't even think that chrysler is letting that out to public.
  6. Hi, In case anyone is considering adding a front air deflector to his journey, don't make it install at the dealer (unless you're really bad with tools). They charge about 100$ + tx for that and it took me about 20 minutes by doing it really carefully. For sure you will need to drill 4 holes on the inside of the hood but it ts done easily. By the way, I strongly suggest to install a deflector, after only 2 months I already had 3 rocks chips on my hood. If anyone have any question on the procedure, just ask!
  7. In case anyone's looking for that fuse, a chrysler mechanic told me there is none in the journey. If you want to store the vehicule for a couple weeks, unplug the negative from the battery.
  8. I went to the dealer today to fix a problem with the Vr/Bluetooth and asked for the flash update also. The guy said that there are no update available for my vehicule. I insisted and told him to check about "garbled text update", He did not found anything. Then he called tech support and they said that something was coming about that but nothing available yet. Arrghhh. He updated my PCM module though but it was not specifying what it was fixing. will ask again for the update on my next oil change
  9. I can confirm that there is no hard drive, only a SD Card reader, but it supports SDHC cards up to 64 Gb, which is more than enough IMO. I know it can read mp3 from the SD card but never tried video files though. But I can confirm that the disc player reads DVD's only on park.
  10. I heard some squeeks coming from the back of mine, but I thought it was the child seats... Will check later if it comes from the HVAC.
  11. Congrats! How tough/easy it was to install the Bug deflector?
  12. So it was related to the brake pedal??? Weird... So it was some kind of an electronic shortage related to the brake pedal. Or is it a physical break due to the pedal that moves?
  13. Ok false alarm, after I started the car the Phone menu was back, but still not working. I verified the fuse #F-131 in the indoor panel, It is not broken. Think I'll need a visit to the dealer... Arrrghhh
  14. Have you found a solution for that? On my side, I tried disconnecting the (-) connector of the battery for a minute to force a reboot of my system. Now the "Phone" menu has vanished from the screen... Daniel
  15. HI, Anyone knows where is located the IOD (Ignition Off-Draw) Fuse on a 2011 Journey? Thanks
